Secondhand Time Book Mga Nobela at Kwento

Your understanding and patience has meant the world to me, and I cannot thank you enough. Special thanks to Mama bear, Oladipo Titilope, Chelsea Hench and the rest of yoou for your beautiful comments. I love you so much This book was written in less than two months, during a time when my schedule was incredibly hectic. The fact that you have found my crappy writing worthy, despite the limited time I had to dedicate to it, is a testament to your generosity. I am thrilled to announce that this book is part of a series, and the second part will be available next week. I cannot wait for you all to continue the journey with me and see where the story takes us next.

he instructed me. “Alright” Taking the keys from him, I wait for him to leave. “You have one hour and twenty minutes” he added as he decided to leave. My eyes widened. Forty minutes have already passed. I should be quick. I started with the top shelf corner. It took me twenty minutes as I went through every page, reading history, about curses and stuff. One hour passed by and I was losing my hope as only two books were remaining. Only twenty minutes and I went through the remaining two books. My heart was saddened when I did not find the cure. With an angry growl, I kicked the shelf. And a small leather book fell down. Frowning, I took a look and flipped it.

Popping open the buttons again, I grabbed a random book from the pile and knocked on the door. “Sorry to disturb you, but I seem to have a problem with…” I cast a cursory look at the book I’d grabbed and was appalled to see it was a literature book, “…this book.” He arched his brow. “Time to kill" by John Grisham . I got it because I was told it’s one of the books in this year’s syllabus, even though I wasn’t sure if Literature is one of the subjects you’re interested in. I haven’t read it though, so I might not be of much help.”

I was already skating too close, every second here pressing against the wire of my cover. I moved to the glass case near the counter. Inside, a row of pocket watches gleamed under dim light, each one precise, intricate, meant to catch the eye of someone who valued time as more than a passing thing. I leaned down. “How long have you had these?” “Some longer than others.” Mercer’s reply was deliberate. He didn’t ask why I wanted to know, didn’t offer a story to soften the silence. He just watched. I let the quiet stretch, then said, “Funny thing about time. Feels like the closer you get to losing it, the heavier it becomes.”

I was working in a book store and Emery had walked in searching for a particular book. We bonded over literature…then went for coffee dates then took long walks through the park where he'd tell me about his family's hotel business. With Emery, everything had been slow…we dated for months before we finally had our first kiss…a year after,he introduced me to his parents and two years later, he proposed. But with Julian…it took just one conversation and I lost my sense of reasoning. I almost missed the address, until I stopped at a small building with peeling paint.. that was almost collapsing.

“How so?” “The time scent,” Eva explains. “It was triggered by a familiar scent I couldn’t quite place. At first I thought I was losing my mind. But after seeing the book, pieces started fitting together… and it's making sense.” “Which book?” Ophelia asks sharply. “The Codex Luporum.” Ophelia nods slowly, her gaze drifting into the middle distance for a moment before snapping back to us. “There could be a correlation. Your Time Scent cannot deceive, Eva. Dualism is an ancient, washed-out gift. About fifty years ago, someone with it briefly surfaced from the East… then vanished as quickly as he appeared.”

The second word was *yours. The handwriting on the slip on the doormat was the same handwriting as the second word. He had written, in pencil, on the title page of a book he had moved from the floor of my living room on a Wednesday morning two months ago, the single word *yours,* and he had in the way the man he was put information into the world trusted that I would find it when I was ready to find it, and trusted that I would understand what the finding meant. The book was mine.

I'm a lucky man Mikel. I love you Mikky. Now and forever. You're my heart, my life. From this day on we start new. Fresh. As they say Second time's a charm and this time we will do it right. Mikel smiled then looked over at Killian. His hand searching for hers, his body relaxed when he found it. His lips twitched with a smile before getting lost in sleep once again. She loved this man with everything in her soul. Dominic's words echoed in her mind. Though her life continued on without him she still got a life of love. He blessed her with a piece of him and she was grateful. Probably his way of taking him with her in this new life. "You're right Nicky. Second Time's a Charm."

The Date Golder did pick the venue but she didn't pick the time and day. Friday had already arrived and the hours were sliding pretty fast too. What made it worse was the fact that she lost track of time during the day and by the time she remembered she was going on a date it was already two hours to when her ride was to arrive. And just taking her bath was going to take 30 minutes. “Oh shit, Arianaaa”

Hello Readers, We've finally updated Wonderings and replaced all of the repeated chapters with the proper chapters. Now that Wonderings have caught up to the present, we'll be working on Shards of Time. It'll take about two days atleast to catch up with Shards of Time since it'll be a bit more difficult for us. We'll be working on author-nim's raw files so we have to fix a few of the chapters to match with the story so please bear with us. We appreciate the support and understanding from the readers. Thank you everyone for your support. We hope everyone is safe.
