See You My Mate Novels & Stories

There was a bang on the door and I knew it was my mate, I huried to open the door without checking curious to see him but when my eyes fell on the dark figure towering over me at the door i stepped back while he growled "MATE" Was this a joke or something? I blinked.

{"....Is your mate dead?" {"Why do you ask?"} {"What if he shows up?"} {"Then I'll go to him. He's my mate, isn't mates supposed to be for each other?"} Right. I said those words! I slapped my palm to my forehead, "That was meant to be a joke! In fact, if I saw my mate, I'd immediately cut him off..." I tilted my head in confusion. It really feels weird to say it. "A joke? Look at you. You can't even properly lie without looking so obvious. Don't force yourself. Let's stop talking about this, and don't ever mention mates ever again, got it?" He threatens, eyeing me up and down.

My mate was sexy as hell! I took my mind out of the gutter that my thoughts were treading towards. “Hello again, mate,” I declared confidently. She stared at me blankly before smirking at me. Well, that was new… “Mate? I don’t think so.” Oh, now we were playing games, huh? “Oh, you don't believe you are my mate? You can’t believe you are that lucky? Don’t worry, gorgeous, we are definitely mates,” I teased her. “Lucky? Being your mate would be the worst thing that could happen to me! I wouldn’t ever get tied up with someone like you!”

“Mia, hold on. I’ll call an ambulance.” As I watched him leave with Amelia in his arms, I tightened my grip on the urn in my pocket. In my fading consciousness, I heard Emma’s voice. “Mia, I’m not mad at you. If you buy me strawberry cake again, I’ll forgive you.” I stared at the blue sky. “Emma…I swear I’ll avenge you.”

I need to see you now. A smirk spread across my face as I locked my screen. My mate was calling, and there was no way I'd miss this chance to escape the party and be with her. Pushing off the wall, I straightened my shirt and started toward the exit, already feeling the excitement bubble within me. This night just got a lot better.

When I finally woke up after the surgery, someone gently shook my shoulder. "Are you okay, miss? Here's your phone. We found it in the burned area." I stared at it… but I didn't have the courage to turn it on. Then a werewolf firefighter stepped closer. He hesitated before speaking. "Your mate… seems to have gone overseas." "I saw his last message when I recovered your phone from the scene." My body was weak, but my mind was terrifyingly clear. I buried my face in my arms as a stabbing pain exploded behind my eyes.

"In my timeline, you died, and I never found my mate. I'm about fourteen years older than me in this timeline, but since I saved you, things are about to change." The stranger leans back, and suspicion tickles my throat and comes out as a question. "So, who are you then?" My mate's body has disappeared, but before his face turns invisible, he grins at me like the Cheshire cat. "Do you prefer to be called prima-donna girl or Patty?" Time slows, and then I stand there, blinking out into the darkness with what seems like the entire world laughing at me. Dior. Fucking Dior Lavigne is my mate?

Zelda “We're mates,” he said, his voice filled with conviction. The words echoed in my ears, reverberating in my mind. At that moment, I wished I could disappear, that I could run away from this situation. But I knew that I couldn't. I knew that I had to face the music. And then I saw my mother standing in the doorway, her eyes filled with pain. She looked at me, her gaze full of sadness and disappointment. At that moment, I felt like I had let her down, that I had broken her heart.

Don't ever call me your mate," he said with a frown plastered on his face. "Why?... Why are you doing this to me?" I asked. "It's because you are my enemy and not my mate." "Do you expect me to be with my enemy?" My friend said, and I felt my heart freeze with shock.

Everyone stops howling. “ I’m not your mate, I’m….” He cuts me off again with another growl, this time louder than before. “You’re my mate! I finally found you!” Oh! Now I understand, I guess his friend was lost before and maybe I look like her. “Dude listen, I’m not your friend, I might look like her but I’m not her.” I don’t know you, I’m not your friend. He smiles. “Yes, you’re not my friend… you’re my mate!”
