Love To Hate My Stepbrother

Love To Hate My Stepbrother

Edited by William Gifford. Published by T. Egerton. Still, in doubt, I flip over to the next page. Chapter one. 'It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife'. I can't see past those words as tears cloud my vision and impale my sight. There are more by my blurry vision stops me from seeing them. This is my favorite book. My very favorite. I can't believe I'm touching it right now.

Grow As We Go

Grow As We Go

The intense amount of focus that she had on the drawing that she was doing was well appreciated, as the adult pair was able to have a full conversation without fear that she would feel left out. Bradley couldn’t believe that anything like this was happening, as it seemed so much like some sort of novel or fairytale story that only happens to anyone in some fanciful and gorgeous world. Perhaps he was the Elizabeth Bennet to this Fitzwilliam Darcy. Though to most, the setting of his life was bleak, a stark contrast to the Yorkshire countryside that Jane Austen’s books were set on. New York City, despite all that has made it such a monument to the world, can be considered dirty or too habitual

All Her Secrets

All Her Secrets

"Super Catherine, do I have loud footsteps? How did you know I was coming?" She didn't believe in coincidences. Catherine's gaze clearly told Amelia that she knew her appearance. "Your footsteps weren't loud. It's just that I have sharp ears," Catherine said blandly. Even though her tone was extremely flat, it still shocked Amelia a bit. Amelia inwardly exclaimed, "Geniuses not only have smart brains, but even their sensory organs are sharper than ordinary people." In front of Catherine, Amelia seemed like a muggle who came to the world to make up the numbers.

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

I coughed softly, “No… Nonsense. Not every girl…” “What do you think of my figure?” Before I could finish my sentence, he added, “The heroine was attracted by the man. My figure is much better than his.” I blinked my eyes, “What… what are you talking about?” “Don’t you remember? Do you want to touch it?” He pulled my uninjured hand and towards his chest. I hurriedly reached my hand and said, “Well, I don’t want to listen to this novel. It’s rubbish.” He smiled, “I think its quite a good book.”

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

The billionaire virgin wife

The billionaire virgin wife

“Not in words. Oh no, Isabella was far too meek to ever say it outright. But in her looks, in her silences, in that irritating patience of hers , it was always there. She thought she was morally superior. As if goodness could ever outweigh cunning.” Clarissa clinked her glass against her mother’s again. “And now where is she? Goodness doesn’t keep you warm in winter. Goodness doesn’t pay for caviar and pearls.” They both drank. There was a long pause where only the soft music of a violin quartet, playing from the far corner of the room, filled the air. Then Clarissa’s laughter bubbled up again.

The Peculiar Flower

The Peculiar Flower

she heard Mauvais but she only rolled her eyes while still napping and did not answer him. The settings of the novel were very different from theirs. The characters were also very different from them, especially the women. There were a lot of terminologies that didn’t exist in their world, but in the novel, it seemed like it really existed or maybe Lilia Desaix was so talented in conveying the settings and the characters of her novel. “Monde, miss Monde!” a pen landed on Clandes’ head. She sat straightly with wide eyes. She was so shocked looking at their teacher. Mauvais only shook his head and facepalmed. Some of their classmates laughed.

Dark Lands Homecoming

Dark Lands Homecoming

Curiosity was eating at her. With an effort, she made herself focus on the other titles. He had books on negotiating, battle tactics, history, agriculture…boring. Didn’t the man read any fiction? There was a book on stained glass that looked mildly interesting, but she kept scanning the shelves, hoping for something more enticing. Her search was rewarded. There, right in the middle of his shelves at eye level, was an entire shelf of books devoted to lovemaking. Wiley’s eyes boggled as she read the titles: An Illustrated Guide to the Sensual Arts. A Woman’s Climax. Emotional Need and the Sensual Virgin. There were dozens of titles.

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

“It’s a classic novel that explores themes of love, social class, and personal growth.” Jake leaned casually against the desk, flashing a charming grin. “We chose this book because it perfectly shows how first impressions can be misleading... kinda like how Janna here thought I was just a ‘pretty face.’”* The class chuckled, while Janna gave Jake a warning glare. **“As I was saying,”** Janna continued, “the central characters, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, initially misjudge each other but learn to overcome their biases.”** Jake chimed in. **“Darcy was rich, proud, and thought he was better than everyone — sound familiar?”** He pointed to himself dramatically, earning more laughter.

A Marriage of Convenience

A Marriage of Convenience

my voice raised an octave, “That you still had the taste of me on your lips while you were off with another woman? That my husband finally allowed me into his world only to leave me hours later for someone else. What am I meant to understand, James?” A few of the lingering parties scurried away from where James and I were now openly arguing. James’ eyes widened at my crude words, “Come home with me so we can discuss this in private.” Home. A four-letter word that I used to think was a place. Somewhere with four walls, windows, and doors. But after the last few weeks, I’d gotten a glimpse of what home truly meant. It wasn’t a place; It was a feeling. It was a person with two emerald, green ey

and then working himself up to a pitch of enthusiastic generosity, he added, "Elinor, I wish with all my heart it were twice as much for your sake" A laugh assured Miss Tellaro that this passage had struck her cousin just as she believed it must. She said, closing the volume, "surely the writer of that must possess a most lively mind? I am determined to take this book. It seems all to be written about ordinary people, and, do you know, I am quite tired of Sicilian and European Counts who behave in such a very odd way. Sense and sensibility! Well, after Midnight Bells and Horror Mysteries that has a pleasant ring, don't you agree?"
