The First of Her Kind

The First of Her Kind

As she read his letter, she popped a grape into her mouth and let the words sink in. The letter read: Hello Beautiful, I’m sorry for the delay. Believe me, it’s far from ideal. I miss you terribly and long for the moment when I can hold you in my arms again. I yearn for your enchanting smile, your intoxicating scent, and the comforting presence of your body beside mine as I fall asleep and wake up each day. I’m doing everything I can to expedite this meeting, and I’ll inform you of the new date as soon as it’s set. We will be reunited before you know it. I know patience is hard, but please hang in there. I love you more than words can express and will be eagerly awaiting your next letter.

I don’t leave reviews often but when I do it is because an author has done an exceptional job at writing a story that draws you in. This story is one of the best I’ve read on this forum from plot to character development, this story although part of a werewolf trope stands out among the rest!

This is a really beautiful book: very well written with a great plot. The descriptions are intricate & characters complex and loveable. This book deserves to be a paperback! It’s so pleasant to enjoy a gripping story with no grammar or syntactic issues. My favourite book on this platform so far!

The First One

The First One

I still remember it like it happened just yesterday, it's plain as day in my memory, the first time I saw Melvin Cross, the love of my life; I was a three year old kid who just got lost,I wandered the streets of California for days, I had just arrived there from Seoul, where I lived with my Asian Mother, I had never seen my father and I didn't even know I had a twin sister and my Mother's face I could barely remember, I was just a three-years old kid, lost, scared and hungry as I have been wandering the streets for three days, I was so hungry I thought I was gonna die soon, all I had on me was a locket necklace, which I remember my mother telling me not to loose it, I cried and cried, but fo

THE FIRST

THE FIRST

It was the first comfort I’d felt in days. I closed my eyes, basking in the warmth of the sun that bathed the room. The light was soothing, calming the chaos in my mind. But then, just as quickly as it came, the warmth vanished, replaced by a cold shadow that loomed over me. My heart raced, and I knew, without looking, who it was. Slowly, I opened my eyes. The Alpha stood above me, his silver-grey eyes locked onto mine. He raised an eyebrow, watching me intently. His expression was unreadable—somewhere between amusement and fury.

Ending September

Gentle WARNING: Some scenes might be inappropriate to young readers. Read at your own risk. "September..." She called out gasping and catching her breath. September just groaned in response and was fully committed on giving tiny kisses on her jaw while his hands were working on opening the door of her apartment. They can't go home since Fiona would be there with Falcon and with the tension between them? It would be bad for a three year old to be around them. Maeve's arms rounded along September's neck when his lips went up to catch her lips once again. She almost yelped when she felt him rashly swooping her legs of the ground and put them around his hips.

The First Alpha

The First Alpha

Just when she was offering her last prayers to the river goddess, she thought her water broke. It can’t be! She panicked. She was unusually big for someone whose baby was only a six-month-old fetus. She clutched her stomach in pain and was filled with remorse for wanting to end the little one’s life when she thought about killing herself. How could she forget him? She knew it was a boy. She chanted under her breath, distracting herself from the pain that pierced through her body with each contraction. The waters of the Nile shuddered at the sound of the baby’s first cry. The moon emerged out of the clouds wanting to take a peek at the newborn; the first alpha.

"Once upon a time..." gave me the feels! You know, I often get bored when the starting line of a book isn't catchy or enough to fix my eyes on the next words but this one got me. Narration is great because it made me imagine every scene. Best of luck, author! ♥

Another good chapter. I have to say that you have definitely upped your game with this book. I am no doubt a fan of your other story but this one hooks me in right from the start. The chemistry between the characters is amazing,,would like to read more soon, cheers!❣️

And Nina didn't know why her chest was throbbing so violently, she also lost her attention to what she was reading and remembered her last conversation with Argus. But she also immediately erased the suspicion that started building her system and she would still trust Argus no matter what. Soleil's eyes dropped to the book on her lap, and her eyebrows met. "The Moon Goddess and the wolf." Soleil reads the title of the book she is reading. "I didn't know you were fond of that kind of genre, miss Nina." "And guess what, Soleil. The name of the characters here is also familiar. Did you know that the name of the guy here is Hawthorne?"

The First Mate

The First Mate

I shouldn't have, they're very sweet creatures when you get passed how they look, but I'd been panicked and I knew they'd work quicker being reminded I wasn't always a caring being. Katie put her hand between the pages, silently asking me to keep reading. She hadn't said much after knowing Seb was gone, I hadn't pushed it. For Katie, for all my Pack, I would be as caring as needed. I kissed the top of her brunette curls and opened the book between us. "You want to pick the next one?" I asked softly, holding it open to the front page of story lists from a collection of Grimm Fairytales. The small boy, Frankie, had chosen it after finding it in my handbag I'd left on the floor.

The First Girl

The First Girl

The days passed by in a blur and soon it was Monday as I get ready for the first day of my senior year. I haven't felt this happy and laughed so much in years. It felt nice and lovely. I never wanted this feeling to go away, I wanted it to remain in my heart forever.

Evergreen

— no doubt one of the neighbors is hoping to get some yard work done. It was a Saturday right in the middle of September — the welcome transition between summer and fall when the weather was neither hot nor cold, just pleasant. The eighteenth of September; a few days away from the twenty-first, the technical first day of autumn, yet the sun shined outside as if it couldn't care less. The eighteenth of September. My birthday.
