he muttered, his mouth crashing into mine, tasting the leftover adrenaline on my lips. Ronan dropped to his knees beside us, his hands already working at the buttons of his shirt. Vane didn't even take his boots off; he just stripped out of his jacket and pinned my wrists above my head, his dark eyes fixed on my face like he was memorizing every expression. "Tell me who owns you," Ronan growled in my ear, his hips slamming into me with a ruthless rhythm that shook my entire frame. "Say the name, Lilith." "Malakai," I sobbed, my fingers desperately clawing at Vane's leather watch band. "Ronan—Vane—please—"

Theresa was old enough to have experience, but looked young enough to please Salem’s eyes—two key requirements for a housekeeper in his home. “Where is Salem now?” I asked. A good feeding would soothe my nerves. “He’s not at home, my lady. I couldn’t tell you.” Grumbling, I headed to Salem’s library. Perhaps he had a book I could entertain myself with. Once there, I found a book lying open on a desk. It was titled Mythic Bloodlines: Lost & Fabled Lilitu. Curious, I studied an illustration on the open page. It depicted a trio of strange-looking women, just like the ones Salem had been painting all this time. The accompanying text stated:

“Lady Sera, is it true that you are going to learn magic from Lady Hailey?” Eli said as soon as Sera arrived in the palace. That day was meant for Eli and Sera’s history lessons under Countess Igor’s teachings. “Yes, Your Highness. She checked my mana aptitude during the ball and she told me that I’m capable of using magic with my mana.” Sera smiled excitedly. Though she was troubled by the gifts that the deity bestowed upon her, she was also excited to learn something different. She loved the sword but she thought that maybe she would grow stronger if she could wield both at the same time.

After a moment of silence she speaks up. "Luna, I-" I cut her off mid sentence. "I would prefer if you didn't call me Luna, please." I say softly. The honorary title makes me out to be what I'm not, which is definitely the Luna of this pack. Raven would be much better suited for the position. Besides, it reminds of of everything I should have been, of everything I've lost. Raven doesn't question me but responds, "What do you want to be called then?" "My name is Serena Infirma, you can call me Serena."

Xival says, his red eyes glowing faintly. “Of course I am,” Serah scoffs. “With your help, I managed to end the life of that lowlife! That bitch who thinks she can just come into my life and take everything away.” The hatred and disdain in Serah’s eyes fills him with satisfaction. Xival is easily drawn to dark emotions, he feeds on them and Serah’s hatred is intoxicating. Though something about it feels off, he doesn’t bother to think much of it. “So she’s dead,” he says with a dark grin. “The one obstacle to finishing off the CrescentMoon Pack is gone.”

“Her will is mine. Just as yours will soon be nothing.” Lila screamed, her voice filled with terror and rage, cutting through the wind like a blade. She had been hiding behind a cluster of boulders, watching in horror as the scene unfolded. Now, she surged forward, her own light-based powers flaring to life, casting a warm glow across the desolate valley. “Leave him alone!” she cried, her hands outstretched, ready to unleash a wave of energy. But Seraphina was faster. She unleashed a blast of dark energy that struck Lila square in the chest, sending her sprawling to the ground. Lila cried out as the impact knocked the wind from her lungs, her powers flickering and dying as the darkness seepe

Gross. I’m looking across the crowd and do a double take when I see a flash of strawberry blonde hair. I realize that I know this chick. Can’t really see her face yet but I am definitely taken by her hair and hourglass figure. She’s swaying to the music and seems to be lost in her own world. As she turns around with the song, I see her face. Lilith. She’s gorgeous tonight. She has on a deep purple lace top that covers her full sleeves and tight leather pants with knee high boots that accentuate her ass perfectly. Man, I almost wish Brody didn’t set me up tonight.

Xander lit the tobacco in his mouth, "The fewer people know about your real identity, the higher chance for us to move freely. It’s what you call a clean slate, Lilith." I kept sighing hearing petty excuses from him, or so I thought. I couldn't help but show my disappointment about it, "Those were innocent lives. Those were people. They had family, too. They weren't even connected to the Morgans, were they?" But he responded differently from what I expected. He laughed maniacally without any sign of remorse, "Innocent, you say? If only you had known who they were, I highly doubt you would even want them alive. Not even a single soul from those deserves to live. None!" he was berated.

> Sera: “Then we secure it.” > Lucien: “Together.”

I growled low, but it came out more like a whimper. Lilith rushed toward us, dropping to the floor with a flourish and gripping Serena’s arm. “You’re just standing there? Do something! He’s your mate! My child needs his father!” “Don’t touch her,” I hissed, but my voice was too weak. Serena yanked her arm away, glaring at Lilith like she wanted to rip her face off. “Don’t you dare talk to me about your child!” Lilith’s eyes widened in fake horror. “You’re so ungrateful! He’s dying and you’re arguing with me? Do you even care?”
