Serena moved away but her eyes didn't tear away from the shattered pieces of glass. It bore a resemblance to her heart. Her broken, crushed heart. The maid sat her down and took her trembling hands in hers. Her hands were colder than ice, something that worried the maid a lot. She gazed into Serena's distant eyes, hardly so to grab her attention.
