Lily slowly opened her eyes, feeling the weight of fatigue settle into her bones. Attempting to shift in bed, she was met with a wave of discomfort that shot through her body, as though she had just completed an intense workout. Grogginess clouded her mind for a moment, making her briefly disoriented.

It was a sensation she had never experienced before, and it left her with a sense of wonder and intrigue. Other symptoms began to reveal themselves, like pieces of a puzzle gradually coming together. A wave of fatigue washed over her, a heaviness that seemed to settle into her bones. Simple tasks became more arduous, and she found herself yearning for moments of rest and reprieve. Her body seemed to demand an extra measure of care and attention, urging her to slow down and listen.

I beg him, feeling tired, drained and exhausted. “What is there to stop?”

The sincerity in his voice helps calm me. “I can’t think straight … I’m so tired and overemotional.” I sag against the couch, letting out a slow breath, wiping more tears from my already sensitive face. The hangover hits me hard again and fatigue pushes at my eyelids cruelly. I long for some peace in this nightmare for just a little while, all this emotional roller coaster has done is make me crave for sleep.

I’ve never felt this overwhelmed with work before. My back is killing me, my arms are numb, and I’m just completely drained from everything I’ve been tackling. I’m still not even halfway through sorting out these contracts, and I can already feel myself slipping away. It’s like my back is screaming at me, and my mind feels like it’s dragging itself over a massive hurdle. I can’t shake this feeling of total exhaustion. All I want is to curl up and sleep, giving my mind a much-needed break, but I know I can’t afford that, especially since I still need to sort out the plan with Ariana and where she’d stay after school.

Mel felt mentally exhausted, and just wished she could pass out right now. She didn't want to think of anything at all. It's giving her a serious headache.

I think to myself, feeling a surge of determination. With a sigh, I let myself fall back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. My mind drifts back to my life just a few days ago. It feels like a different world now. I remember the struggle of working part-time jobs just to make ends meet, the constant hustle to survive. The memories are vivid, and they bring a wave of exhaustion over me. My eyes start to feel heavy and sticky, a sign of the fatigue that has been building up. I let out a long yawn and slowly close my eyes, allowing myself to drift into a much-needed rest.
