Shadows Of The Past

she cuts me off. " Dream feels real. Like it really happened or it is going to happen. And, that woman named Minerva is not ordinary. She is a witch and known as the mistress of the shadows that was killed by her aunt named Cassandra or Felicity." she finishes for me “And, the doctor we saw earlier wasn't the doctor but a very special and important shadow named Colton who was the second in command of Minerva."

Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

I could taste metallic blood in my mouth. All I could see was the face of a man running towards us, or maybe I was dreaming. We have a man in our sights. Though his light was so bright. Had I died? Was I in heaven? With all I’d done in life, I couldn’t be there. But still, his actual face, the light that surrounded him.... It was like we were in two different worlds. Him in the light and me... I watched his angelic face as slowly the last drop of energy faded, giving way to darkness. THE END

House of Shadows

House of Shadows

I throw myself to the nearest wall and look around the room. “At least this one has a window to look out from”, I jokingly say to myself. I drag myself closer to the window, grab hold of the frame, and pull myself into the window leaning on it. I look in the window, I stare eyes wide through the blood-stained glass. I can see Brittany sitting in the corner of a room across from the room, I'm in. The window in the room is adjacent to another room next to me. I try to open the window but it's stuck, the window won't budge. I start shouting for her and banging on the window. I can see Brittany walk stand up and walk over to the window and stare into it. It's as if she is starting right past me

Shadows of Deception

Vincelli made a sickening chuckle and I felt lightheaded thinking about that, “Ana- Maria's dead? She killed her sister?" "Oh the things that girl would do for me." He sighed in awe. “I know what this is, you enjoy it, don't you? Turning people against each other, families, killing lovers, causing pain to others, to children- you have a God-complex agenda. You live for it." "You know, I always admired you, Archer Devereux, you and that Sinister Salvatore. I just love the scenario." “Beep Beep Beep. Guys." Moe's voice suddenly echoed, "We're in the basement right now and we just found Miss Violet Proca and Vitaly Orlov's body dumped down here."

Shock of My Death

Shock of My Death

He paused deliberately, his eyes flickering ever so subtly in my direction. The room fell deathly silent. Everyone waited, holding their breath for the final pronouncement. "Murder." The word hit like a thunderclap, echoing in the shocked silence. Chaos erupted once more, the noise from the reporters deafening, while online, the live stream chat exploded with comments: "Sabrina is dead!?" "No way! How is this possible?!" "Murder? What is he saying? That Arianna and Charles killed her?" "OMG, this is wild!"

Shadows of the Omega

Shadows of the Omega

The Ashen Pack gathered once more, the air thick with anticipation, with unspoken acknowledgment that they had earned their place. Zaria stepped forward, lifting a chalice filled with dark wine—a symbol of unity, of rule, of shared fate. Darius took the first sip, then handed it to Selene. She drank, the bitter liquid grounding her, solidifying the truth of what had just taken place. They were Alpha and Luna. Rulers of the broken. Leaders of the forsaken. And as the pack howled beneath the rising dawn, Selene met Darius’s gaze, knowing that everything had changed.

Shadow's Essence

Shadow's Essence

Yet he had also observed the pattern firsthand—his father's devastation after his mother's unexpected illness, his grandfather's decline following his mate's assassination, historic records documenting similar losses throughout House Nox's lineage. His own personal experience had reinforced the pattern most vividly. As a young shadow adept showing early leadership potential, he had allowed himself genuine connection with a fellow student—brilliant, ambitious Kaelan whose fire magic had complemented his shadow techniques with remarkable efficiency. Their friendship had evolved toward something potentially more significant before Kaelan's diplomatic mission to House Zoryn ended with his body r

Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

The morning light filtered weakly through the curtains, casting fractured patterns on the floor — much like my thoughts, splintered and jagged. I sat at the small kitchen table, clutching my cup of cold coffee, staring at the leather-bound book *Reflections of the Forgotten* open before me. The stories inside weren’t just tales — they were warnings, lessons written in sorrow and hope. Women who had lived as shadows, trapped in lives borrowed from others, fighting to reclaim their own reflections.

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

Vivian’s gaze skimmed my face and paused, weighing what she could say as Alpha-in-practice and what she needed to leave unsaid because grief is already a crowded room. “Rules,” Vivian said, voice low, clear. “We do not make martyrs for the cameras to eat. We do not chase farther than the boundary you can crawl back from. We hunt what threatens. We bring home our wounded first. We keep the young and the old inside the circle of our least tired runners.” “And if we find him?” someone asked. The him did not need name. “Then we remember that killing a shadow is not the same as finding the body that cast it,” Vivian said. “And we keep our heads.”

The Vampire King's Captive

The Vampire King's Captive

If Maria had to guess, he was probably trying to come up with the best way of telling her that they had pulled her from the realm of the dead into the living so that they could question her. "Ruthie, something's not right and I thought maybe you could help." "How can I possibly be of help?" Ruth blinked, appearing even more confused than she'd been before. "I'm dead." Corey flinched at the blunt words, pain filling his expression and clouding his eyes. Maria's heart clenched and she crept slowly towards the wall, leaning on it as she watched them. She had killed this beautiful woman. She'd taken this woman from her mate, separating them forever.

Thoroughly enjoying this, well written and the storyline has me hooked with it's originality and surprising twists. Highly recommend this, I can't wait to see what happens. I appreciate that it's updated regularly too (I know that can be hard), I can be a harsh critic but this is really well done

Wowww! It's pretty cool. Revenge, misunderstanding, regrets, there are different situations and feelings which all together create a seductive atmosphere, I can't stop reading. I have to say, until now my favorite is Maria, she is so lovable. I really recommend this story.
