The rogues and warriors could feel the change in the atmosphere but could not see the shadows. When they reached the rogues, they started sucking them dry fast then move to the next. One after the other the rogues fell on the ground sucked dry.

Annabel’s eyes locked on Evangeline, standing defiantly as the shadow behind her twisted and grew, coalescing into something monstrous.
