The blood dark shadow sizzled, dripping like acid. "This is me showing you mercy." He tilted his head, eyes gleaming. "If I let this touch you, it will eat through your skin like fire through dry bone. And trust me, I won’t stop." This was one out of his deadly shadows. The throne room felt smaller, the walls closing in as the shadows crept closer.

However, Roy pushed the woman away before she could hurt Willow. Willow shook violently, her eyes bloodshot and her face void of color. Feeling bad, Roy pressed her head against his chest. “Listen to me, Willow. You will get through this. Whatever it is, I’ll figure something out.” Willow shoved him away, her eyes filled with the same resentment and anger she had shown the woman. Roy was taken aback. Willow took one last look at him before walking away. It was only when Willow disappeared into the dark hallway that Roy snapped out of his trance.
