The room’s shadows seem to cling to them, amplifying their menacing presence. The hunter’s eyes scan the room, cold and calculating. They spot me, and for a moment, their gaze seems to pierce right through me. There’s a flicker of recognition, but then they’re turning their attention back to Luke. Suddenly, the front door was kicked open with a harsh crash, and one of his panting henchmen rushed inside. "Sir..." With the cold barrel of the gun still pressed firmly under my chin, Archie snapped his head toward the guard. I closed my eyes, releasing the shaky breath I had been holding. My lips trembled as I braced myself for death, waiting for the fatal shot, until I heard the guard speak. "Someone found our location, sir. We're compromised." Before I could even react to the news, the cold metal of the gun violently collided with the side of my head, and everything went completely black.

Hawk answered like he didn’t have a care in the world. They both turned to see Ray slowly coming out of the shadows with a double barrel shot gun raised at the ready.

I re-adjusted my posture and went on my trip to find myself a way to the masquerade ball. I came upon a route where there were two guards stationed at the entrance of a massive gate. They were clad in royal platinum armor and armed with long firearms. Aside from that, Darkmoon was exceptional in that they could wield a silver bullet rifle without even a shudder. When it came to the Shadow pack, I was the only one with a gun that had a silver bullet in it.

“But if you do something stupid, I swear I’ll kick your ass.” A small smile plays on his lips, and for a second, the weight of the moment lifts. “That’s my girl.” Maxwell makes a mocking sound behind us, but I ignore him. “So now what?” I ask, my voice steadier than I expected. “Now, we prepare,” Shadow replies, letting go of me and moving toward a small wooden chest in the corner. He opens it to reveal a collection of makeshift weapons—knives, iron rods, even a couple of jars filled with some dark liquid I don’t even want to ask about.

My eyes darted around, and I saw another guy completely dressed in a hoodie that hid his features. His gaze was fixed on one spot, and my eyes followed his line of sight. He was staring directly at Tony with an intensity that made my skin crawl. And in his hand, I saw something that made my blood turn to ice. A gun. Alpha Connor Finley BlackPaw of the BlackPaw pack is starting to have an increasing problem with rogues. They’ve been testing the security fencing around the pack trying to find their vulnerable spots. BlackPaw increased their patrols and brought all pack members closer to the center of town where they had an underground shelter for emergencies. He needed help so he called a neighboring ally, the Shadow Mountain pack that was located about an hour away. Alpha Kelvin Shadow dispatched two squads of his elite shadow warriors to assist the BlackPaw pack.

The door is wide open now, there’s a shadow of a person in the doorway, their hands are up in the air but I can’t see who because of the light behind them. I stand up slowly, holding the gun in both hands just like Robin showed me, pointing it straight at the person in the doorway. It doesn’t look like Robins silhouette, so I flick the safety catch off.

He put his boomerang and flute into the pocket of his oversized wind breaker. Shadow put on a skin mask giving him a scary appearance with a bald forehead and an inch deep scar on his right brow. His nose was slightly twisted to the left with a piece of his upper lip missing exposing his teeth and upper gum. He put on his hat. He took his retractable bow and arrow and the scanning shoes and its paired display watch. The trio walked out of the wardrobe looking like a group of hoodlums. Ed and Denis looked at them and smirked “Still got it!”

While Bo has a shining white head free of even a single strand of hair and a short thin (mostly gray) facial hair and smells like golden spice. Gray is standing on the left side of a semicircle made up of him, Cordelia and Bo, with cordelia being in the middle, a few yards just ahead of us. Gray’s holding a long thick metal link chain in his hands, conversing with the two. Iselyn and I stop a few feet away, just close enough to alert them to our presence and hear the conversation.
