In Her Shadow

In Her Shadow

My workplace knew all about the skeletons in my closet and kept a tight lid on any info about me. To keep my parents from tracking me down, they had spun a yarn about me skipping the country after getting my master's. My parents finally stopped chasing ghosts. They needed cash and had debts to clear, so they hit the pavement looking for any work. However, the past scandal had left a lasting impact, and their rap sheets did not do them any favors. No one would touch them with a ten-foot pole. Before long, on the streets of the town I once called home, an old couple scraped by, living off what they could salvage from the trash.

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

she said, the word foreign in her mouth in relation to Shadow. “Information,” Varik corrected. “Alliances are for the living. I am… done. But others… are not. There are Shadow-blooded wolves in packs you call allies. In packs you call enemies. In the rogues massing at your borders. Some will try to use this coming storm to rewrite old grudges. Others will try to stop it. You will not always know which is which. I am here to tell you: watch for sigils hidden under fur. For wolves whose scent seems… out of place. For tunnels re-dug where you thought you filled them in.” Elia’s hands moved with ruthless efficiency, but her eyes were flinty.

Alora's Windsong

Alora's Windsong

**** Deep beneath the mountain… The shadow slid through stone cracks like smoke. It entered the cavern without a sound, gathering itself on the floor until it rose, shaping into something vaguely humanoid, tall, and wrong, shifting like tar that refused to settle. Two red coals flared in its center. A voice seeped out, distorted and layered. “She hid,” the shadow hissed. “The Sorcerer hid from me.” The cavern rumbled, walls trembling as Shade emerged from the darkness, taller, denser, power radiating from him like heat from an inferno.

In His Shadow, in His Bed

In His Shadow, in His Bed

(Lorenzo's POV) The cold promise of that blade against my skin was a watershed. It severed the last, fraying thread of denial. For a week, I retreated into the penthouse, not as a king to his throne, but as a wounded animal to its den. The silence was no longer empty; it was filled with the echoes of my own failures. I stood at the windows for hours, tracing the paths of headlights far below, each one a reminder of a city moving on without me.

SHADOWS OF THE COVENANT

SHADOWS OF THE COVENANT

The confrontation with his former master happened on a Thursday afternoon in the inner courtyard of what had been the hunter order's training facility, which was in the process of being formally repurposed and had the specific atmosphere of places in transition — still familiar in its bones, emptied of what had given those bones meaning. Most of the hunters who had stayed after the fracture were gone now. The ones who remained moved through it with the disorientation of people whose context had been removed before they'd had time to build a replacement. Some of them would find a way forward. Some would carry the old thing until the carrying became impossible. Aldric didn't know which way Edv

The Lycan Commander’s Lethal Shadow

The Lycan Commander’s Lethal Shadow

"He was a predictable, short-sighted obstacle driven by vanity and fear. You can bargain with fear, Liam. You can manipulate vanity. The Shadow is different. It doesn't operate on political logic, territorial ambition or economic leverage. It is an apex hunter tracking a specific frequency." With a swift swipe of her thumb, she activated the sync-pad. A translucent blue holographic map of the high northern ridges bloomed into life above the scarred oak table, casting a cool azure glow over their faces. Several tracking nodes along the outer perimeter were blinking with erratic fading gray signals. Liam leaned over the map, his massive frame effectively blocking the ambient chill of the room

Chasing Bella's shadow

Chasing Bella's shadow

When he found their hiding place empty, the overwhelming stench of rogues and wolves from another pack had completely overwhelmed him. Shadow had searched for his little friend for days, but her body and the bodies of her family were never discovered, probably torn to pieces or carted off as some macabre trophy somewhere. Shaking his head to rid himself of his heavy thoughts, Shadow stretched. Sliding out from under the covers, he padded over to his closet, taking out a fresh pair of shorts, a running singlet, and shoes. An early morning run always helped to clear his mind, and with the latest pairings and the unlucky wolves returning from the Howling tomorrow, he would have to oversee the f

After reading many many different book on many different platforms, this book is by far the most tantalising, it has totally bewitched me. No book or story have ever got me day dreaming of what happens next whilst I do my daily tasks. There is not enough time in a day to keep constantly reading.
Lisa Nicholls
I have loved reading this series the characters all come to life with skilled detailing and the story line is always just right with enough excitement to keep you reading but not too much to be off putting. I'm super happy the new book has been started

Shadowsouled

Shadowsouled

Realising his boss's likely fate, he tried to stand, coughing violently as the smoke began to fill his lungs. Stumbling, he grabbed onto someone as they ran past, and they shoved him off, screaming, "Run! They're inside! The shadows, they're hunting us all!" Losing his balance, Greg fell to all fours, a feeling of desperate hopelessness suddenly flooding him, 'No..' he thought, 'they've found us,' and collapsed, curling into a ball as he sobbed violently, his whole world burning around him.

My Billionaire Punk Rock Lovers

My Billionaire Punk Rock Lovers

“Sensible. If he slips up, and with this little war he currently has going, he could slip up, you guys don’t want to go down with him.” “Yeah, we know. We always mask up when we go, too,” Shadow added. “And Tempie wigs it, so we’d be hard to identify. You want to play?” He gestured to the game. They had, Raven decided, reached the end of Shadow’s knowledge on the subject of Gregory Holmsworth. “Nah,” Raven wanted to watch Shadow. “You play, I’ll watch.” “Okay.” Shadow was animated as he played the game, and for five minutes, Raven could look at him blatantly feeding that hunger, without having to meet the other man’s eyes and justify it, until Shadow cursed as he missed someone and was shot.
