She’s mine.” Shadow’s expression darkened, but he said nothing more and exited. Once in his room, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number. The line connected instantly. “I’ve waited long enough,” Shadow said coldly. “I don’t care what your grand plan is, Cleo. Kill the girl. Three days. If she’s still breathing after that, I’ll handle it myself.”

Once again, his towering form shrouded in his heavy black cloak, his face hidden from view bar the two bright glowing orbs that are his eyes.
