Chapter 113: A Time of Celebration The sun cast a warm golden glow over the pack as they gathered in the clearing, their excitement palpable. It was a day of celebration—a day to commemorate their achievements and honor the unity that had brought them so far. Aurora, adorned in her ceremonial alpha attire, stood at the center, ready to address her pack. "Today, we come together to celebrate not only our accomplishments but also the unbreakable bond that binds us," Aurora began, her voice resonating with pride. I kissed Gal quickly, promised to return before sunset, and headed out. The pack house sat on a hill overlooking the town, a modern three-story building of stone and dark timber. I got the information from my source that the next target would be the pack that has at least 300 members and only three packs are there that have that much capacity of people. The three packs are the Midnight pack, Moon Shine pack, and Blue Moon pack. One of them is my neighbor's pack Midnight Pack and I am concerned about my pack I am the ally I need to be ready to fight with them if required. But nothing is a concern to them as they were smaller packs. It is the life we are talking about how can they have no fear of their Pack they could be their next target. I can not hear more bullshit about ' Everything is fine with your reign.' which is unjustified if I could be a judge.

“I’ve heard you might be a spy sent by another pack. Who knows what’s inside your suitcase? For safety reasons, we’ll have to inspect it.” I looked at her coldly. “What right do you have to search my luggage?” She burst out laughing. “Before, I didn’t. But now I’m the Luna-to-be of this pack. What rights I have, you should understand.” As she spoke, she reached for my suitcase. I held onto it tightly, refusing to let go. When she couldn’t pull it away, she turned to Hunter and pouted. “Hunter, look at her. She’s guarding that suitcase so tightly. There must be something shameful inside.”

Tension thick enough to taste. “Silence,” I say. It hits like a command. Everything stops. “These are the females in this pack for now,” I say. “Hopefully, more will be found soon.” For a second, nothing happens. Then it breaks. A few men shout all at once. “Mine.” The word cuts through the air. Before I can react, a few of the females move. They run, fast and sure, straight into the arms of the men who called out. No hesitation or fear. Just movement.

And technically, I guess they kind of were. The Snowridge Wolves. Yeah, that’s really their team name. Subtle, right? The crowd screamed around me, the sound echoing off the walls and ice. People waved signs and stomped their boots. I tried not to flinch when the puck slammed against the glass in front of me. Ironvale High had already racked up three penalties, and we weren’t even through the first period. These guys didn’t play nice. The Wolves, though? They played like a pack.

She continued. “Well, it did work out for him. He lost all his power and most of his influence within the tribe. All our food supplies dwindled. The only way he could feed the pack was by doing bad things to other people. As I’m sure you’ve already heard; Cannibalism.” Lora laughed and I could only sit there, dumfounded. Charlie let out a snort along with her. I clasped my hands in front of myself and ignored her ‘pack’ phrase. “Why didn’t you guys rebel sooner?”

I then called her forward, and she stepped out from behind me to stand by my side. The arena falls silent as they wait for my next words. I take a deep breath and begin to speak, "My fellow pack members, tonight we celebrate not only our victory, but also the presentation of my mate, Lia." I gesture towards Lia who is standing by my side. The crowd erupts into cheers and applause. I can see the excitement and happiness on their faces as they welcome Lia into our pack.
