This female definitely wasn't Athena, she one of the notorious 'Vixens', as they're fondly called. A gang of deadly, female, fox shifters. I've heard about them and their ability to take the physical form of anyone they wish. Just by watching the person and getting close to them, they are capable of shapeshifting totally into the person, stealing their identity. From how they speak to even how they smell, these foxes were very skillful at what they do. Though I don't think this one in particular is skillful enough.

SHIFTERS- Beings that live opposite mortals in this fantastical world that change or "Shift" into their animal counterparts in times of dire need or in extreme and emotional situations. Most Shifters reside in their homelands called Clan Lands which they share with others of their kind and Shift called Clans Men. There are a total of Six Shifter Clans that reside throughout the planet each supporting the various other species of Shifters from Bird to Dog.

They love to trick and joke. They are hugely annoying. Imagine not knowing if who you’re talking to is real or not.” Kai laid the rock down softly. There were Vampires, shapeshifters, witches, banshees, sirens, kitsunes, and nogitsunes, who were dark kitsunes. It was a lot to absorb but they spent their time learning about the other creatures. The battle that was going on was between the shapeshifters and the other creatures. The shapeshifters wanted to be the ones in charge of the supernatural world, they wanted to eradicate the rest of the creatures. Even though they could shift into any anima, human, or supernatural creature, if they become a supernatural creature, they do not get the power of that creature.
