I look over a bit startled at the sudden noise to see a large black raven waiting patiently behind it. Damon stands up to open the window and as the raven is flying into the room, it shifts into a tall and thin man with long dark hair. A shapeshifter? I've only heard bedtime stories of them. The stories tell of a noble race, using their abilities to hide in plain sight.
