SHE•SHIFTER

SHE•SHIFTER

“Maybe you really are looking for a wolf or something. Because let me tell you, I’ve never turned into a beast.” “And that’s one of the reasons why you're special,” he said, walking closer to me. “You can turn into any person. There are no books that exist that show something like you is real. Only human imagination, Myths. Shape Shifters like you, I’ve only seen on tv. With the brothers and Henry, it was the blood.” “Blood?” He nodded.

The Last Phoenix Shifter

The Last Phoenix Shifter

She shouts, her skin darkening with each word. That's when I realised that she was about to shift, that we would see her other form for the first time all because we made her angry, We had taken her to a point where she couldn't control the shift. Where her body was taking over and the other part of her wanted out, the site was breathtaking, her skin being swapped for feathers, each one the colour fire. she was much larger than I would have thought, her red eyes staring back, daring us to make a move against her. but none of did, We simply watched her in awe. Dumb struck by her beauty.

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

I tossed out the random question as I flipped through the pages of the book of shadows and stopped on one with a picture of a werewolf that was half shifted. “They can. The stronger you are, the more you can hold a partial shift.” My father shifted his claws and covered his hand in fur, but it stopped midway up his arm. “If you are thinking about that shift…” He pointed to the picture. “You won’t be able to do that one.” “Why not?” I was more interested in shifting into Nix and Megan so each would have their freedom. I don’t need to shift Amy. Megan’s voice was soft, but I heard the scoff that came from Nix.

I love Drama
I liked the story very much as it has its uniqueness in it.. Author is talented.. It was a rollercoaster of emotions within also with a lots of twists and turns.. But there are a lots of loosends that needed closures.. However, I guess that's gonna be covered in the next book.. Definitely good read!

I love the story. So many new & unique ways she has made this lycan/wolf/witch universe has me captivated tbh. I'm a long-time reader & tired of seeing the same thing. the characters are funny. The way she addresses loss, recovery, and acceptance was touching. can't wait for more from this author ...

Aina: mated to 7 Alphas

Aina: mated to 7 Alphas

I could almost feel their anticipation, their readiness to pounce, and their hunger for dominance. Within this void, fear and determination waged a battle within me. The suddenness of the shapeshifter's act had shattered the fragile equilibrium, and now I grappled with the unknown consequences that lay ahead. Yet, amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope ignited—a belief that this unforeseen turn of events could potentially work in our favor.

The Luna’s last breath

The Luna’s last breath

“Now they are working together.” The ancient enemy growled weakly. “THE TYRANT BREAKS WHAT ALREADY EXISTS.” “THE SHAPER BUILDS WHAT THE TYRANT WANTS.” Aria’s pulse spiked. “And we’re caught in the middle.” The Shaper suddenly lifted one hand. The air immediately answered. Not violently but rather, obediently. The broken terrain shifted. Realigned. Stone transformed and flowed like liquid into smooth, structured formations. The once jagged battlefield transformed into something eerily symmetrical.

FATED TO MY UNCLE

FATED TO MY UNCLE

"Then we are going to give you some tests to take to determine which course is suitable for you." "When do we start?" I asked feigning interest but the truth was that I wanted to get out of this office. "I am busy with board meetings so tomorrow morning will be suitable," Davina said and pulled out a sheet of paper with a list of books that I was going to get. The topics were strange but I hid my surprise. There were ten books in total: Lycanthropy and Shapeshifting Studies Explore the history, biology, and psychology of shapeshifters, focusing on transformation techniques, controlling impulses, and understanding pack dynamics.

if anyone had told me that there would come a day that I'd be so excited about the every next episode of a writers mind, I'd argue to any extent. but here I am feeling emotions from strangers who don't even exist....... kudos to the writer

ALPHA REJECTION

ALPHA REJECTION

My heart pounds in my chest as I strain to listen, my eyes scanning the shadows for movement. And then, from between the trees, a figure steps out—its shape shifting and twisting as if it can’t decide what it wants to be. One moment, it’s a wolf, then a bird, then something entirely else. Its eyes, glowing with an eerie light, lock onto mine. A shapeshifter.

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

“You… you were that woman? How? She was older, you're just…” “I am a lot of things, but yes. That day, I was the her.” "How?” Nathan blurted out, almost yelling. "Let's say I'm some sort of shape shifter.” she said, shrugging her shoulders like it wasn't a big deal. Shape shifter? That was crazy. “You… I didn't know that.” I mumbled, almost to myself. She turned to me. “I also was the soldier from Alexa's army who hid the book,” she said. “So Alexa wouldn’t burn it. I changed forms, buried it deep in the old lands and set the wards around it. I was watching the whole time.”

LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA

LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA

Lying on the floor was a woman who looked human, but she had long claws. "I hope you're not so stupid that you don't know what shape-shifters are. They suck your energy and make sure that the person they inhabit is hated by everyone, so that person can't trust anyone but them. They like attention. The only person on your side? Yes, she is there," he said before walking away, leaving me standing there in shock.

TWO ALPHAS ONE BOND

TWO ALPHAS ONE BOND

Their hands ended all wrong, and their eyes caught the moonlight like animals, burning with intelligence that didn't belong to their current bodies. A cold, focused alertness spread through me, sharper than fear. It was the predator's recognition of something demanding its full attention. "What are they?" I thought, pushing the question to Sky. "Shapeshifters," she replied. "Not wolves. Much older, and far less principled. They can be anything–beast, human, creature. Whatever serves them. Right now, they've chosen intimidation. That tells us a little about who sent them." The six spread out, forming a loose arc that blocked every exit without appearing to try. It was practiced, the movement

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, I keep circling back to old-school werewolf stuff when this comes up, but the classics like 'The Shining' or 'I, Robot'? Not the right alley. For that deep, unsettling 'who am I now?' churn, you want the ones where the change isn't just a costume swap. You want the psychological fallout. Clive Barker's 'The Thief of Always' does something clever with it, more metaphorical, but for a raw look at a man losing his humanity piece by piece, you can't beat 'The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect'. It's not furry, it's a tech horror where the protagonist's consciousness gets uploaded and then... well, he becomes something else entirely. The old self is just data in a new system, and the book forces you to sit in that existential dread with him.

Then there's the flip side in romance, where the transformation is tied to belonging. Take the 'Alpha and Omega' series by Patricia Briggs. Charles Cornick isn't just a werewolf; he’s the enforcer, his identity is wrapped in that violence and control. Watching him navigate a bond that fundamentally alters how he sees his own role? That’s the grip. The change here is internal, a reshuffling of his entire sense of purpose, not just growing claws. For a pure fantasy take, Martha Wells' 'The Books of the Raksura' has a protagonist who discovers he's not human at all but a shapeshifting Raksuran consort. His whole journey is unlearning a human identity he built for survival and accepting a predatory, alien social structure as his true nature. The tension is constant because the transformation is permanent and social.
