The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

“This is perfectly safe” A few nervous laughs followed, shallow and unsure. “The swords have been equipped with non-lethal composite tips,” she explained, motioning toward the rounded, dark ends—elegant, polished, deceptively harmless. “They won’t draw real blood… just bruised egos…and…reveal who deserves to wear a crown next to the goddess Inanna..” She smiled and my fists clenched more. “Each blade is pressure-sensitive. One clean hit is all it takes to register a strike.” She continued with a light tone.

The Goddess of Wisdom and creation. (A dark gods novel)

The Goddess of Wisdom and creation. (A dark gods novel)

The razer sharp claws could cut through someone with one swipe of the hand. Before I could get a better look around. They started to attack me instantly. Fuck I'm going to kill all of them for leaving me here. As I threw out fire it did nothing but anger them. I watched as the one I burned absorbed the fire causing me to groan. After multiple attempts, I used ice and that seemed to do something. They all started to run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

All sorts of different kinds of knives, of different shapes and sizes. She spent some time humming to herself, picking one knife up, then another. Testing a few out in the air. Finally she smiled to herself as she selected one that seemed to be to her liking. “This. This is perfect for your first go round. Not too heavy, but still a good weight. Recently sharpened, so should cut through the flesh no problem. Good point, nice shape. Yes. This one is perfect for you.” She handed it to me as if she were handing me a perfect pair of shoes for an outfit I was wearing. Was she actually expecting me to stab him?

This book is so good and the writing is superb! This is the 4th book in the series and it is just as amazing as the other 3. If you haven’t read them, I would suggest reading the other 3 first before reading this one so you will get to know the characters. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

In love with my Prisoner (a Mafia BILLIONAIRE romance)

I asked as I suddenly felt nervous "Don't worry, you work hurt me" "How do you know that? I might do it accidentally, and isn't it better to work with a blunt knife or something not so sharp, cause I don't think this is a good idea?" " It's better to start with a sharp knife, I have folded you, you have great potential, and starting off the gun with what you would face in light of an attack is better than using something blunt, and you won't hurt me because I am too quick for you to catch," he said

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

The cold gleam of the blade flashed in her eyes. Gripping it with both hands, Hayley gave it a few test swings. The air itself seemed to slice apart, the sound cutting sharp and clean. Swish, swish, swish! The weapon's power was undeniable—solid, balanced, deadly precise. "What a blade," Leonard said as he stepped out from the shelter, stopping short when he saw the weapon's sharp aura. "You know how to sharpen it?" Hayley asked, glancing over. "I can give it a shot," he said seriously, walking up to her.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Dragoned in Half

Dragoned in Half

Not that its challenging. I enjoy the quiet of my room as I start in on my knives. The Tungsten steel alloy of the blades gleams in my eyes as I cherish the reflects. The sharpest part of the blade gleams a bright yellow where I infused it with my scales. I sharpen it against another just like it and the sound is music to my ears. Sparks fly between the blades as they clash.

Owned By The Mafia Lord

It only needed to be. La Paloma had been a massacre. The blood had dried fast, crusting against the ridges of the handle, settling in the fine lines of the steel. It took effort to wipe it away completely. A kill wasn’t finished until the weapon was ready for its next one. I moved to the next knife, then the next, until each one sat before me, shining like they had never been used. That was when I reached for the sharpening stone. A clean blade was one thing. A sharp one was another.

Regretting Divorce

Regretting Divorce

161 Zara's POV "Oh god, Zara! I'm scared for you." My fake sobs came to a halt as I heard an equally jarring fake gasp on the call. "How big is the knife? Is it a katana? Or a machete?" The mockery in those words pierced my ego like the tip of an obsidian blade. When I say obsidian blade, I remember reading once that it is the sharpest blade in the world. One can only imagine how deep the tip wounded my ego.

The goddess Bond

The goddess Bond

A stunning work of artistry, meticulously crafted from the darkest obsidian. “May I?” I ask as I gesture towards it. “Of course.” “Thanks,” I say as I pick it up to examine it closely. Its blade is as sharp as the bite of a winter frost, tapering gracefully to a fine point. Each edge is polished to a mirror like finish, reflecting the face on its surface with a pristine clarity.

I walk over and lift it from its stand. "It's quite sharp, a good weapon, but not a proper size for you. The halberd is deadly and takes a master to wield it proficiently." I step several yards away and sweep the air in front of me. The blade whooshes through the air and makes a unique sound. She's captivated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Spent years in a psych hospital, then assigned to cover the murder of two little girls back in her tiny Missouri hometown. The reporting forces her to live with her venomous mother and the half-sister she barely knows. The town itself feels like a character, all sweet-tea hospitality masking rot. The book’s less a whodunit and more about how the violence we inherit shapes us, the ugly family legacies we can’t scrub off.

Flynn’s prose is like broken glass—it cuts deep and leaves a mark. Camille’s own trauma is literally written on her skin, which becomes central to the whole atmosphere. The ending hit me like a physical blow; I had to just sit with it for a while. It’s not a comfortable read, but it’s a necessary one if you can stomach its gaze into the dark.
