With her instinct, she knows that everything will be out of its place. I tried to reach for the Sherlock Holmes book on the higher shelf. I pouted when I couldn’t reach it, but I gathered all my strength and jumped. My eyes widened when the shelf almost toppled over, but Louis quickly caught me, his hand on the top shelf while the books fell. It’s quiet and peaceful, and without Alice or anyone else here, I finally feel like myself for the first time since I’ve come to this castle.
