More importantly we spent it helping the families that had lost someone and supporting those that had lost their mate as that was one of the hardest things to ever having to deal with, literally loosing the other part of your soul, no one could ever fully recover from that and most chose not to stay in this world.

I could not get specific details. I remember the color of her eyes, an emerald green, the color of her hair, light brown hair, her face shape was that of Liz's. The rest was long gone from my memory. I missed her. None of us knew what type of shifter Arisa would be, but we attempted to gather as much information as we could on shifters. Shifters can shift into any one animal. They do not entirely lose themselves to the animal. They still can think rationally and change into an animal or back to a human as they please.

"But, if I have to talk to you, then you're gonna have to answer a few of my questions as well." "Well aren't you an opportunist? Trying to turn an interrogation back on the interrogator...?" The Shifter smiled softly, a move that not only emphasized his incredible mouth....but the four slightly sharp teeth, two on each side of his front teeth. Pointy canines that no mortal would ever sport. The sight of them shocked him as much as the Shifters smile tried to charm him. "Fine, let's do this. A limit of ten questions for each of us.....I believe that sounds fair enough?"

Grace heart skipped a beat when she heard her uncle mentioning the clock “Hello! ummm Grace….” Shade said blushing “hello sir! May I know what you want to know about that clock” she asked “ can you tell me the where did you got this and how many are there and also if you could sell this to me” Shade asked “may I know why you want to buy this clock? It’s really old and not a desirable product” she asked “ My sister in law has a identical looking clock which she accidently broke. It was really dear to her so I wanted to get it for her” Shade replied and saw the color draining from Grace’s face

The following two shifters ran toward each other, and one went high, and the other went low, using his shoulder to flip his opponent. "Well done!" Eve praised. "Go!" The following wolves ran at each other. This time, the one who went high jumped over the other shifter, clearing him by a few feet. "Well, that's one way to go!" Eve shrugged. "Go!" I ran toward the other shifter, and I could tell that he was going low, but I bent down and flipped him over my shoulder. "Well done, Luna! You anticipated your opponent's move!" Eve praised. "Next two, go!"

He holds the gaze for a bit too long, and I'm honestly getting uncomfortable. I snap, "Focus on the road". We sit in silence for the remainder of the ride, watching middle class neighborhoods, gyms, and restaurants pass us by. We're literally on a dirt road about 10 minutes later. If I look antsy or restless, Shawn either pays me no mind, or he doesn't care. He's operating the wheel with his left hand, which is more muscly than I remember. He sits next to me in Geometry everyday, and I swear he's always had bony black-painted nails--or was that just his goth phase?

Take yesterday for example. Ever since the incident as a child, I have only shifted during my traumatic experience like about five times. First comes confusion, protectiveness, then sadness, denial, and grief, then rage. Anytime some one is around and I shift, I always end up attacking him. I even attacked Rodrick once—well Scar did. The other people were guards on patrol. Since then I never leave my house after 4:30; hence, never leaving my pack. Rodrick has always understood so he never forced me to leave the pack. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm a shitty Beta. Sigh.

Then you are pretty close to knowing how it feels to shift for the first time. After you do it a few times, it becomes quicker and you don’t feel the pain at all. Charlie will be shifting in the clearing. I will be guiding him through it with pops. Pops said if needs be, he can command Valour to shift, but he would only do that if his shift becomes dire. A normal shift takes fifteen minutes, but it feels like an eternity. So I know this is going to be harder for him because he was a siren first. So we are preparing and trying to keep his mind off of it. So far, it is working.

Ditto buddy! “What? You can fly over the river as a wolf?” I shot. “Almost, I am one of the fastest wolves in Astoria,” Kent said. Not bragging but just like it was a fact. “Why don’t you transform and I hop on your back? I can hold on pretty tight.” I suggested. Kent turned to me slowly. He looked beyond angry. “How dare you!” “What?” I asked, confused. “How dare you ask an Alpha to be your mule? I have never, will never, let anyone ride my back.” He explained further.
