Shifter Romance Books Novels & Stories

It's with a heavy mind that Chasing Shifters will be going to a 2x a wk updating. Life has gotten much busier for me and as of now, and I can only do updates 2 days a wk. so look out for new episodes on Weds and Sats. This change will go into effect this wk. I truly hope you are enjoying the story. I know it's a slower pace but the build-up is important to the story. not everything will be included from the past but there will be flashbacks as Kat gets older. Please leave me comments or gems to keep me going. I am enjoying writing this novel and hope that you'll continue to join me on this wild ride. It's the first time I'll be including dark themes and traumatic experiences in any of my wor

“Are you… in heat?” “What?” I asked. She chuckles wittingly. “I’m guessing neither Will nor Lana have had that talk with you.” “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said. She grabs a towel and runs it under cold water. She does a light dabbing around my face, on my neck, and underneath my arms. “The books say Shifters resemble other animals when it comes to mating.” “Mating?” She nods. “Ever so often, when they have an attraction, they go into heat.”

Please. What do you mean?” This time he chuckled. “Oh, little one. It’s simple. Our biology tells when the perfect time to shift is. For wolves it’s between fifteen and sixteen. For vampires we know around thirteen sometimes it’s a bit late coming close to fifteen. Witches and fires shift around seventeen and angels shift sometime between sixteen and eighteen. You still have time. Until your eighteen. Your just not a normal Shifter. You still may be human but you could still be a dark angel. If your special you could be a white angel but there hasn’t been one for hundreds of years so it’s very unlikely.”

“Inspiration doesn’t wait. Besides, you say things too good to waste. Like the coffee brooding? That was gold.” He shook his head, a smirk tugging at his mouth as he ordered two coffees. We grabbed a corner table, Goose still stealing glances from half the café. “So, what’s this book about?” Ace asked once we sat. “Cat shifters,” I said without hesitation. “Epic romance. Sarcastic hero, rambly heroine, lots of claws and passion.” Ace raised a brow. “Sounds familiar.” My cheeks burned. “Coincidence.”

I hadn't even finished a whole row yet. Some stuff is repeated but this book is by far my favorite. It's solely about bear shifters. Bear shifters are the most loyal type of shifter. They would lay down their lives for the ones they are to protect without a single thought. Thats terrifying. I don't want Dom to die because I might. Even though he would probably fight me on it.

“We have studied any recovered books or records thoroughly over the years, as we do with any new pieces that find their way to us, for the most part we all assumed that the writings in here were children’s stories, and nothing but fiction written by an imaginative soul, and that may still be the case, but now I’m not so sure.” “The book is filled with tales, short stories really, relaying the life stories of shifters who were blessed or cursed by the Moon Goddess. It really does read as fantastical ramblings rather than anything of fact. But one of the stores tells of mated shifters both cursed and blessed by the Goddess. Cursed to a lonely life, one of solitude until they meet their perfect

Instead, I put on a show that would leave them both green with envy. *~*~* Isobelle The rest of the afternoon dragged by at a leisurely pace, and the boys and I spent most of it watching back-to-back episodes of a shifter drama called Shifter Valley. There were plenty of covert scandals, breaking pack laws, illicit affairs, rejecting mates for the rogue next door, a wolf shifter trying to explain to her mate that she was pregnant with a bear shifter’s cub. They even did the thousand-yard stare right before the ending credits rolled. After I watched the first episode, I was hooked. I was sure the boys regretted giving me dominion of the TV remote.

“I was being serious.” “I know. I was too… Kind of.” I shrug a lazy shoulder. “You know you read too many of those damn shifter books, right?” “Yeah, and there’s still no shame in my name.” I waggle my brows to annoy her more. “No, but I am pretty sure BITCH is.” She sticks her tongue out at me. “That is still debatable.”

I’m damn proud of it, and I’m glad I didn’t give up after the first fail. I’ve discovered that I get into those fantasy stories where one person knows who his or her soul mate is upon meeting them, or even before that, as what happened in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, A Kinda Fairy Tale series by Cassandra Gannon, and many of the shifter books by Eve Langlais that I have loved so much. So that’s where I came up with the Love Mark idea.

My heart beats fast, and I feel a wetness between my legs that I can’t ignore. One gray afternoon, it was pouring rain outside. The library was dead empty. No one to bother me. I locked the front door early and turned the sign to closed. My hands were sweaty as I picked out my four favorite books from the back shelf. There was the pirate story with Captain Thorne, a tough guy who sails the seas and takes what he wants. Then the vampire book with Lord Draven, all dark and mysterious, with eyes that pull you in. Next, the cowboy tale with Buck, rough and ready from the wild west. And finally, the barbarian adventure with Garrick, a big brute who fights with his hands and conquers everything. E
