Blood Moon trained hard and it showed, the warriors moved like people for whom their bodies were tools, sharp ones, kept in good order. It's rare that the Shadows get this kind of interaction with the council, they normally keep pretty much to themselves. A male wolf shifter named Shane who is considered our “general” if you’re comparing ranks to a human army, steps forward. Shin pushed Lizzy towards Nero's side as he shifted to his wolf as well. He was evidently more gigantic than me. His claws were the same length as my legs. He seemed to have no more hesitations in mind, so I initiated the duel between the two of us, wherein I would obviously stand no chance to defeat him. I continuously flew all over the place, trying to search for an opening where I could land my first blow, but Shin was literally securing every spot where his weak spot might be located. He doesn't even have any blind spots; he can easily see everywhere I go.

Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

My eyes will lie eventually and that can jeopardize everything that I have tried so hard to create.
