My bone snapped gently and I breathed, holding on until my stance was solid under my weight.
Domino noticed, and turned. I threw a punch straight at him.
He staggered back, holding his nose and I pushed the other foot forward, my finger pointed at him.
“I told you before. Leave him out of it.”
Domino swallowed then laughed menacingly, his hand dropped off his face, the blood spilled down his nose, going past his top lip. “You’ve got energy. Good.”
I knew I couldn't handle it but remained on the spot, taking his attack, his punches threw fast, every blow I dodged sending my body close to the floor, staggering and I lost balance, tripping on my own foot.
