Molly This was going to be the best Christmas ever. Molly grinned as she pulled out her master key for the shop, slid it into the lock, and opened the door. The scents of pine and cinnamon filled her nose as the Christmas spirit washed over her. It was time to open up the shop for the day. Every day since Thanksgiving seemed to get better when she was in the store. Christmas Wishes was the best Christmas store in town and possibly in the entire United States. Molly would even guess it ranked in the top five best Christmas stores in the world. The only one that could possibly beat them might be a Christmas store in Alaska that was actually near the North Pole.

Wyatt followed her and Mugsy up the back stairs and into his room. Ronnie turned down the covers and patted the sheets. Wyatt slid in and Mugsy soon joined him on top of the bed. Ronnie tucked Wyatt in and gave him a kiss on his forehead. This time, they were furious to be deceived. Finally, a real wolf came. The boy cried for help, louder than ever, but no one came. He and his sheep were left to the wolf."

Laura chided trying to hold back her laughter to save her friend’s face. The rest of the evening was fun with the women around. Petra, left some minutes after Maria had re-emerged to return home, leaving the rest of them in the house. By midnight, they sang a Christmas hymn together and wished each other a Merry Christmas. Laura and Maggie then distributed the gifts they had brought for Maria
