Her Homecoming Is Our Farewell

Her Homecoming Is Our Farewell

and didn't give it another thought. Only when his taillights disappeared from view did Yuliana pull her shawl tight. She returned to her room, grabbed her suitcase, and walked out the door for the last time. The snow fell harder now, a white shroud trying to bury the wreckage of her youth. As her plane lifted off, Yuliana took one last look at the city that had held 20 years of her life. Softly, she repeated the words he hadn't stayed to hear, "Goodbye for good, Charlie."

Abnormally Normal

Abnormally Normal

after everything I went through, still just insults I did my study on those creatures for years, and I can still remember some of my favourite poetry and poems I read as a kid A Last Word by Ernest Dowson Let us go hence: the night is now at hand; The day is overworn, the birds all flown; And we have reaped the crops the gods have sown; Despair and death; deep darkness o'er the land, Broods like an owl; we cannot understand Laughter or tears, for we have only known Surpassing vanity: vain things alone Have driven our perverse and aimless band. Let us go hence, somewhither strange and cold, To Hollow Lands where just men and unjust Find end of labour, where's rest for the old, Freedom to all

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

The Pianist's Stunning Violets

The Pianist's Stunning Violets

How Can I Say Thank You To Thee? The daffodils I touched on the stranger land were unfair Sent pain in the heart and in thought, afar and near set What other words can describe, purple, yellow, orange To the thorns and thistles that perched on, no one cared? Then, hands were closed Head bowed; knees bent Words were thoughts full Clasped for a closer view. Greetings were goodbyes The ring was lost no shine Bid farewell to the heart of Feet were afar now - ended.

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

“You can go as far as you want… but you’ll never really be gone.” Her trembling hand rested over her heart. “You’ll always be here.” The sky grew darker, clouds heavy with grief. A soft breeze stirred, lifting strands of her hair. And amidst the sobs and silence, it felt as if the world itself mourned with them—knowing that some farewells are never truly accepted.

Hi author can we shift the tone a bit, I feel like it’s getting repetitive I don’t think it’s necessary to keep bringing up about David, Natalie and Eli relationship and how it’s weird every chapter. It feels like I’m reading the same thing over and over again just worded differently.

The story is really good but I’m still in chapter 410. So not sure how much will happen in the next 600(and counting) chapters. I hope it’s not prolonged too much unnecessarily. I felt a bit cringe with the plot holes like the change in the name of Chase’s dad, or Daven saying Josh was 5 🥲

A Farewell to the Dark Past

A Farewell to the Dark Past

"Now that you're out, just forget about the past." With that, he sighed once more before driving off. I watched his car disappear into the distance. My fingernails dug into my palms until they drew blood. Forget? How could I ever forget?

His Forbidden Mate

His Forbidden Mate

With a resolute nod, he made a silent vow to honor Tom's decision, even if it meant enduring the anguish of separation. In the silent night, as the moon hung high above, Damon whispered, "Farewell, my friend. May your steps be guided by courage, and may our paths cross again in the light of victory."

GAME OF ALPHAS

GAME OF ALPHAS

The priest stood, holding an ancient leather-bound tome as he recited the words of farewell written in a language only a few could understand. “We gather here under the watchful, silvery gaze of the moon goddess, not only to bid farewell to our fallen warriors, whose courage and sacrifice shall be etched into the annals of our pack’s history, but also to wish their spirit safe travels to your everlasting kingdom of peace and power. Their spirits shall now walk among your symbols of stars, watching us, protecting us, and guiding us until the day we are reunited as one. May their souls rest in everlasting peace. Farewell, great warriors, for you shall never be forgotten.” There was silence as

A Collection of Twenty-Seven Farewells

A Collection of Twenty-Seven Farewells

When Wendy Chance's father, Josiah, was rendered speechless, I was the only one he wanted to go to speech therapy with. Every time Wendy and I wanted to go out, Josiah would clutch the corner of my shirt. Once again, Wendy would stuff an unused train ticket in my hand and pat my shoulder apologetically. "Treat my dad well, and I'll make it up to you on another trip. Evan can accompany me on this business trip instead. Don’t overthink this." Evan Striker was the secretary she claimed knew his place. I had collected 27 unused tickets over the past three years. They were from unrealized trips to the mountains, historical towns, and the beach. Every ticket turned into a post on Evan's social

The look in your eyes

The look in your eyes

Let love melt into memory and pain into songs. Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings over the nest. Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night. Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last words in silence. I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light your way.
