Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Not me at all. No matter how tired I feel, I am still finding a way through. Believing in self is disbelieving in what others have left for you. Be it cold death or warmer Earth. You need to be yourself, not the other who might even excel. I am reporting the joys of your mind, a genuine trick. Live life to the height of your thought, not tallness. You can achieve a goal just by one man. That's you, none else.

Game of Hearts

Game of Hearts

I lie here awake but I’m not one to pray, everything’s changed but now I’m okay. I’m rattled this time, can someone lift my chin, keep my head above water before I’m too deep in. I’ve never had problems, where do I begin, but it’s not a problem because I’m just being human.’ I had always liked poetry and this particular one actually got to me because I felt I could relate to it in a weird kind of way. “Poetry is light, poetry is love. That’s a poem written by an anonymous poet on i*******m. Pstar7….”

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

To stand apart, in my own right, To bask in my own simple light. But until then, I linger here, A shadow filled with silent tears.” I gasped, and sat up from the bed. Tears streamed down my face. At first was afraid, wondering where I was but then slowly what happened last night started to come back to me. That poem was shit! What the fuck is my subconscious doing by feeding me poetry like I don't already know my life is dim and useless.

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

I murmured to myself, feeling the need to read I once again. “Day 1 of 41.” I started reading aloud. I do not care anymore if there may be someone who can hear me reciting a poem but no one can stop me. I am absolutely on the point of mu=y life that I have to read something for me to gain back the lessons I have lost, the metaphors I forgot to use and the feeling of having those butterflies inside my stomach. I just miss that point in my life and now I am giving myself a favour. Stars gone falling down

CHOICELESS; I wish I am me

CHOICELESS; I wish I am me

Anna scolded. "I wished they did; at least, they would have banned me from going out with that jerk, Leo." She blurted. Miss. Anna moved closer to her, sitting beside her on the bed, she continued; "I understand how you feel, but you don't need to endanger your life to be free. What if you had injured yourself while staggering into your room?" "No Miss. Anna! You don't understand what I'm going through; isn't it better that I get injured, and even die in the act? What am I living for? I have lost everything; I'm left with nothing." She said, sniffing between words.

The Biker's Rules

The Biker's Rules

“I want you to listen.” The music swells, filling the car, vibrating through the seats, the windows, my ribs. I don’t even realize I’m singing at first — until the words are already out of me, every line memorized, etched into muscle and memory. ‘Hmm, yeah … Mirrors they never lie … Don’t see myself inside … Why can’t I get it right? I don’t know … You’re always watching me fall … Shadows, they like my wall … Why do I feel so small?

I personally can’t get past the first two chapters you said the parents died in the description but they went to jail in the story. You said they have 7 brother but you then say after she only met one that she needs to meet 4 more. It’s too many grammatical errors I’m sorry I hope you do better.

MY REFLECTION

MY REFLECTION

" I'm Gisella Antonio and this is the story of my life. Although life wasn't so easy on me but I stood and fought an endlessly battle which I almost lost but finally won at the end. I once looked down on myself. Feeling so useless, aimless and unwanted. I felt like a curse rather than a blessing. I made the words, thoughts and feelings others had about me become "MY REFLECTION" which wasn't right. Till the day I realized what I lost feeling inferior. Today, I wrote this to encourage you not to allow what people think or say about you be your " REFLECTION" but be the " REFLECTION" of your own self. You can be whoever you wish to be when you stop listening to what people say about you and deci

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

The poem goes like this: “They said you came looking for me. I didn't drown; I was the water." I don't know if that makes sense to you as much as it made sense to me. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful poem written by someone who understands human beings and life in a special way that I and you who has read the poem don't understand. I am not going to waste my time to talk about atheism or to debate about the loopholes of religion. I will leave it for a Sunday when I have the time and strength to actually put a lot of efforts in airing my view for all of you to be complacent with yourself while keeping in mind that my motives are purely intended to bring good and not to cause harm as some of yo

Selling Myself

Selling Myself

The ache in my wounds deepened. I stood before the mirror and pulled off my dress. The reflection showed raw, red welts and bleeding cuts crisscrossing my body. I remembered how, even the smallest scratch on my finger was enough for Joseph to fuss over. He would clean it himself, wrap it carefully, forbid the maids to take over. And now, I picked up a damp wipe, awkwardly twisting my body to clean the gashes. The sting of the alcohol was sharp. I leaned against the chair back, biting my lip, afraid to breathe too hard through the pain.
