At least that’s what I thought… It was Christmas Eve and I’d spent it with my girlfriends, drinking wine and getting lit talking about girl stuff and the subject inevitably turned to sex, as it always does when the girls get to drinking, and I, sort of, admitted my secret fantasy.

I was happy that Damien was here too. I looked at my phone and decided that it was time for me to watch Christmas movies. I always watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie "The Christmas Story." It was my favorite. Wasn't nothing gone keep me off my couch with a bowl of popcorn. I could watch it all day and night. I never got tired of it.

I'd taken countless forms of transport and walked miles, suppressing my fear while passing through a forest to get to him. However, all I'd gotten in return was a local telling me there wasn't any ancient tomb in the vicinity. All there was was a professor by the surname of Gray preparing for a traditional wedding at the old settlement with his lover. The preparations had started half a year ago.

Mmm , another 5 minutes " She mumbled , in a world of her own. She snuggled sleepily into Chad's chest. Chad smiled. "Guess you're not a morning person then huh?" He gently got out of bed to make them coffee, with extra sugar. They could both do with a sugar rush, he decided. "Memo to self, stock up with Shy Girls". Shy Girls were little foil wrapped chocolates. Chad put the pot on the stove and looked around the cabin. This was just a perfect place for him and his Chipmunk to spend a week's vacation getting to know each other. He was so glad they had met.

Laura chided trying to hold back her laughter to save her friend’s face. The rest of the evening was fun with the women around. Petra, left some minutes after Maria had re-emerged to return home, leaving the rest of them in the house. The women had their dinner together and even succumbed to Laura’s wish to play Dirty Santa with Maria and Aria placed in charge of wrapping the gifts for the game. Afterward, all five women settled in front of the TV with blankets and popcorn buckets in hand to watch Jean Shepherd’s ‘A Christmas Story’. By midnight, they sang a Christmas hymn together and wished each other a Merry Christmas. Laura and Maggie then distributed the gifts they had brought for Maria

Luckily, the subway was just two blocks from the penthouse. The streets were full of frantic last-minute shoppers picking through the already ravaged stores which were closing shortly. Christmas music played through speakers on the streets. Christmas lights glistened and fake snow lined the streets in front of some of the stores. Near the gun store, plastic reindeer, blow up snowman, and an animatronic Jolly old Saint Nick waved and said Ho Ho Ho. It was very fitting tonight of Amber’s attire. Santa called her ass out.
