She tried to call out, but her voice caught in her throat, and she was left gasping for air. Suddenly, the whispering turned into a loud, guttural growl. Emily spun around, and her eyes widened in terror as she saw a pair of glowing eyes staring back at her from the darkness. The eyes belonged to a massive creature, its fur matted and blood-stained, its claws as long as knives. Emily froze in fear as the creature emerged from the shadows and began to move towards her.

Ten-year-old Bree chimed as Emma looked over her shoulder worriedly. “That’s nice, sweetie. Why don’t you tell me about that mermaid story again?” “I hate that story. Can I tell the one about the wolf?” Bran chimed in. “Wolf?” Patrick asked as Brinna looked out the window and saw another animal running alongside their vehicle. “Yeah, the one that eats the girl in the red hood.” “Mommy, I don’t like that story. It is scary.” Bree snuck at the rolling landscape and saw the scary animal with sharp teeth sneering at her, so she pretended to look forward and saw her parents exchange a look.

Shirley blinked her eyes in order to confirm if she was seeing things but the woman still stood glaring at her. Before Shirley could take in fully what was happening, the pale looking woman in question whistled and immediately, they got surrounded.

He decided to wait for them till they returned. Cold breeze danced about in the car making goosebumps fill his body, he began to shiver in fear and his breathing was unusually fast. He felt a hand touch his back, his eyes widened and he froze then he turned around to see who touched him but he saw no One. He was nervous, he knew the car wasn't safe anymore, he knew he had to step out of the car. He was still contemplating whether to leave now or not when the car opened and a ghost appeared at him then disappeared almost immediately.
