Sarah perked up, her eyes lighting up as she set her drink down.
"Oh, hell yes! I've been dying for some action. Angela, you're in, right? You can't bail on us now."
She nudged my knee with her foot, and I laughed, the sound bubbling out before I could stop it.
Competitive fire sparked in my chest—I hated losing, especially to these clowns.
"Duh, I'm in," I shot back, sitting up straighter. "But only if you all promise not to cry when I smoke you. Bragging rights sound sweet."
