Toshi was completely engulfed by the flames of the Infernal Arrow as hot air filled the main hall. Everyone scrambled to back away, and Chad was completely dumbfounded. Shane stood with his hands behind his back, smiling peacefully at the sight of the flames swallowing Toshi whole. A few seconds later, the flames died down. Toshi's clothes were burnt completely, but he continued to make his way towards Shane. Shane lost his smile once again. Toshi let out a howl and charged toward Shane once more.

The Lyka person says and Iris puts out the blue fire. They immediately collapse before me, bowing low to the ground.

Pain shot up my side, but I barely registered it. Because the dragon wasn’t finished. He spun, head lowering, throat glowing. Heat built, brighter, hotter, until fire burst forth in a torrent. I froze, my body locking. The flames roared closer, searing, blinding. I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for agony. But instead of burning, I heard a voice. A shout. "Soren!" My eyes flew open just in time to see him. Soren. He didn’t hesitate. One second I was frozen in place, staring at the firestorm tearing through the walls, and the next his hand slammed against my shoulder.

The person stuttered, "M-Mr. Zalmer… are you saying D-Dr. Zal—Winifred—is your daughter?" Serena ignored the crowd and moved the cursor to play the surveillance footage. In it, I wore a white laboratory coat and wore a surgical mask as I meticulously worked on an experiment. Everything seemed normal. The blue oni howled and writhed in pain, violently swinging its arms to try and hit Sera. Suddenly, it started to melt into a liquid that smelled oddly of alcohol. The flames reacted with the liquid and exploded. Sera was resistant to fire but she felt the need to create barriers of her own flame. She was sent flying back, landing a short distance away from the center of the explosion.
