I start to back away at the same time as he approaches me. -You can't refuse me- he growls in a deep voice. -Of course I can- I cross my arms slyly. I watch as he clenches his fists to the point where my knuckles are white from the pressure. He backs me up against the wall with one arm on either side of my head. - You're not going to reject me- he remarks in a deep voice. I raise an eyebrow.

screen, in confusion I turn to see what he's looking at and there she is on the screen clinging to another girl, I looked closely at her long brown hair and big wide brown eyes, she was radiating fear "But she needn't worry" Abyss was tipping, the shock caused my heart rate to speed up and I had started sweating and that one word slipped out at the same time Acre said exactly the same thing "MATE".

Lie

Lie

I moved forward, taking the champagne glass up, I moved it to my lips to take a sip, “What are you doing?” I feel Triston’s lips on my ear. I ignored him, pushing the drink back and finishing it right then and there. I placed it down on the table before I stood up. I looked at Triston, “I’m going to the ladies' room. I’ll be right back.” I left the dining area, came into a hallway. I saw a server making their way to the area before I stopped them. I took another glass, downing it as quickly as the first. I took a bill out of my clutch and placed it on the tray. “I’ll be back soon.” I spoke to the server, “Have me a glass of vodka when I come back.” The man gave me a curt nod as I made my way

Shift

Shift

“I’m in the secured room off of Ethan’s office. I can hear them fighting in the pack house though. Kev is out there. I can’t hear him though and I don’t want to distract him by reaching out through the link.” My eyes narrowed in on the turn to take onto their territory. Holding tight, I started the turn early. The wheels, very loudly, protested against the sudden shift in trajectory. The whole back end of the car started to fishtailed but this car was a rear-wheel drive. Once I managed to lock in the wheels, the drift helped us continue down the road and I felt the shift of the territory in matter of minutes.

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.
