I smiled. “Daisy is sweet, but what if it’s a boy?”
“Then… uh, Rocket?” She grinned mischievously.
“Rocket? Absolutely not,” I laughed again, clutching a pillow. “What is wrong with you?”
We went on like that for a while, tossing out names that made no sense at all like Pickles, Thunder, Cupcake until our stomachs hurt from laughing too much. It felt silly, but it also felt necessary.
