Forbidden Forest

Forbidden Forest

If one of the pillars is off, it can ruin everything; they might even blow up Ezra and Zeze double-check the pillar's position. The group put the pillar in the right place. Ezra stood in the middle of the forest and started to sing. Her voice was light and clear she sings a different range of tones. The song was in a foreign language, and it was a sweet tone. The soldiers were nervous about fighting the goblins, but they weren't scared anymore after hearing her music. The cloud became darker, and thunder and lightning hit the pillar and travel through each one.

Biting the King: A Rogue’s Second Sunrise

Biting the King: A Rogue’s Second Sunrise

“The boy is quite arrogant on camera. My profile isn't a fan of his group yet, but if his claws can actually pull this off, my wolf doesn't mind joining his circle today.” “Isn't he afraid his big bluff is about to get completely exposed to the capital?” “Since his mouth wants to be so self-assured and arrogant, our fingers won't go easy on his choice!” Following that comment, the paid trolls hurriedly search their data circles for the most obscure, difficult, and ancient pack songs ever written in the history books. But my fingers flawlessly execute every single piece they throw at my face, my spirit capturing the exact emotional essence and ancient beast-pacing of each separate track.

Thirty Days

Thirty Days

I ask, looking up at Taylor. "Sure." He shrugs, starting to strum. I recognise Metallica's 'Enter Sandman', but it is unlike any version I have heard before. The music raises goosebumps on my arms, and I find myself singing along softly. As he finishes, he looks down at me with a soft smile. I find myself melting under his gaze.

The Angel Of Death

The Angel Of Death

"My name is Dilly," the lady troll introduced herself to Amorivia. This was her dream to see all the mythical-- well, now real creatures in the books she always loved yet... it scares her. "Don't be frightened, I'm a good one. I don't eat children." Dilly assured her. Amorivia gulped. "I'm Amorivia." She was shaking in fear. The troll has a big rock nose and her hair was like of those vines Tarzan would grip on to when he swings.

She's My Fire

She's My Fire

I know he is rock hard under those clothes, and all of a sudden, my mouth is powder dry. “Willow.” I said. Leaning myself against the bar. “What’s yours?” I asked. His eyes flashed from light blue to dark. He is a dragon. Duh Willow, what else would he be? A troll? Maybe I have had too much to drink. One of my favorite songs to dance to blasted over the speakers. “I LOVE this song!” I say screaming so he could hear me.

TO DENY A LUNA

TO DENY A LUNA

The lyrics were sugar-coated nonsense, bouncing around the interior like confetti on caffeine. “What in the world are we listening to?” I asked, unable to mask the horror in my voice. Dante grinned, tapping the steering wheel in rhythm. “Trolls soundtrack. It’s catchy, right? You like it?” I blinked at him, appalled. “No. Absolutely not.” He shrugged. “Selene downloaded it on my Spotify. I didn’t realize it would be... so upbeat.” I sighed, leaning back into the seat, regretting every second of this ride that wasn’t wrapped in silence. And we weren’t even at the commune yet.

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

His hulking body bares a tunic of leather, heavy chains, and black tattoos snaking in between them. His eyes are droopy; his skin is a shade of green. A nose like a potato sits beneath his eyes, and his hair is tangled and hangs in greasy strands around his features. He smells of raw meat and iron, his breath an echoing growl of hunger. "Watch where you're going, little man," he growls. "Sorry." I rub the back of my head and look around. The troll is still standing there, staring at me with interest. I try to ignore him. I've never seen a troll in person before, and while I would love to stare back at him, something tells me he wouldn't take well to that.

Shattered Bonds

Shattered Bonds

It takes me a full two minutes before I understand what I’m seeing. As I watch, trolls begin pulling themselves from the walls of the cliffs. They stand, stretching is if they have been in the same position for too long. Rocks and boulders fall off their bodies, tumbling into the water beneath them. When they are done, there are ten trolls standing in the ravine and the gap has extended making it more of a gorge than a ravine. Shengis is hugging a troll that looks like a female. Another one coming up to him, embracing him. Haijen is also hugging what I think is a female troll.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

The troll beside me glared at them and they immediately backed down and returned to sullen silence. The bearded one looked at me. “Singing trolls? I had no idea there was such a thing.” “Oh yes. They love singing. Hey, Flossie,” I called over, “how did that song go?” Not needing to be asked twice when it came to putting on a show, Flossie jumped to her feet and reproduced Kaceyton’s song word for word. Maybe this was her special ability, being able to memorise song lyrics after one hearing.
