We are talking about the sirens. Just like humans, there were many different types of sirens: males and females who took pride in their fish tails of different shapes and colours; and among all of them, there was one that stood out the most, thanks to her beauty, pale skin, bright aquamarine tail and vibrant pink hair. Her name was Marina.

Penny widened her eyes and nodded her head down towards Thea’s crotch. “Yep,” Thea answered dryly. She held up three fingers and mouthed “three times” at Penny. Penny frowned, “Bellamy, do you know what we are?” she asked brazenly. Thea slapped her leg, “Hey, if he knows, we can just kill him, he should already be dead anyway!” Penny shouted. I couldn't help but think if they were actually right about Uncle Adrian. Growling angrily, I shrieked at the sirens. To my utter surprise, the sirens stopped in their places, as if someone might have frozen them in their tracks. They were all staring at me with utter surprise on their faces. The siren song also stopped right after. It was surprising that they didn't stop when Moon shrieked at them with the similar powers but they stopped when I shrieked at them.

“And your fans have been obsessed with the viral photos of you and your bodyguard is Giovanni, yes?” I expected this. I smile politely. “Yes. Giovanni.” “Do you find the online reaction funny? Because the memes—oh my God.” She laughs. I laugh too. “Yeah, I’ve seen some. People are very creative.” “Creative is one word,” she teases. “One of my favorites was the one where someone said why does Cara’s bodyguard look at her like she’s the sun and he hasn’t seen the light since the cold way?” The audience laughs. I do too. Even Gio cracks a smile from where he’s standing.

I shot my dad a quick text and was received poorly as he sent back an angry face and crying face emoji. “Good morning Miss Summers, Mrs. Murdock” the pilot says as he shakes our hands once we’ve boarded. “I’m Captain Reese and I’ll be flying you from JFK to LAX on this lovely day.
