I swallowed the lump that had accompanied her slap. "Caramel?" The shock could not be contained. She wasted no time in getting rid of the bandana. "What is it?" She began to walk around the chair I was tied to, in small circles, keeping her arms folded across her chest. "Caramel?" I repeated as if it would change the image of the person before me. As if the state of shock I had gone into after realising that I had been kidnapped was not enough, I saw that my sister was a part of my abductors.

"You shouldn't be wearing your sister's clothes. You look like her now, but you're not her." I never wanted to replace my sister and it eats away at me that no one ever believed me. I lowered my head further, unable to speak because I knew that if I did, I would lose control of my emotions. His cold fingers lifted my chin, forcing my eyes to meet his. "You know, I promised your sister I would never love another woman."

The guys were off to rescue an elven princess from an ogre. The story that she had been mulling over for the last few days finally clicked. Just how she wanted to write about her brother and Natalie finally hooking up. Kristen liked to think they would be great together. Just perfect. I yell. ‘Vasara,’ ‘They’re up ahead!’ Krone yells while floating away. I pray that another vision is not deceiving us. I hope my sister is near and I can save her from this place. I hope . . .

A vivid red hue is quick to paint her cheeks as she shyly lowers her head to hide her blooming smile to my words. "Come, meet my male." I take her hand and guide her towards where Cronus has run off after kidnapping Kal. "Cronus!" She giggles as her brother comes into view. He launches Kal into the air only to seize him as he falls whilst my male screeches with glee with the feelings just erupt in the pit of his belly to his uncle's game. "Goddess, my sister is here. We must flee now, Kal."

Ezra went utterly still. Victor watched with interest. Bianca’s eyes glittered. Luca muttered something under his breath that sounded very much like, “Here we go.” Vivian turned to me then. For one second, I did not see the polished future Luna. I saw my sister. The girl who had been told her whole life that Ezra was hers. That the Luna role was hers. That the future was hers. And now I was standing there in the cloak I had worn from his room.

Over by the apiary, a female in a white suit and veil is smoking the bees. Another female, Wrenlee’s sister, Annabel, is perched on an overturned bushel basket, picking peas. Their youngest sister, Laney, sits nearly in the grass, shelling the peas and popping at least every other one in her mouth. “Hello, sisters,” I call. They both wave. They’re still shy of me and the other males, but they don’t smell of fear anymore, and that’s a blessing.
