FATED TO THE ALPHA'S SHADOW

FATED TO THE ALPHA'S SHADOW

Feeling like I failed the people I’m supposed to protect. She stretches her hand out to me, holding mine gently. “Damien, you have to promise me something.” “Anything. Just name it.” She looks at me, straight into the eyes. “You have to find my sister. You have to find her before your father does something horrible to her. Please, promise me you will find her. Promise me you won’t rest until you bring her back to me.” I squeeze her hand gently, swallowing a big air of nothing. “Elena, I promise you that your sister will come back to this palace in one piece. Nothing wrong happened to her and I want to stop until I bring her back. You must believe me. Is that clear?”

She wondered what tricks this girl was playing at the moment. "Hi," she greeted and then looked at the four companions of Catarina. "I am Sydnee Mondragon, Catarina's sister. It's nice to meet you all." One of the girls laughed and held out her palm. "Nice to meet you. I am Generika Montelano." Sydnee smiled and shook hands with the girl. But she was startled when the other girl laughed. "Don't make fun of her, Generika," she said.

He shrugs out, as if my sister were a chess piece. “You said if I killed the alpha and the luna that I would get my sister back, you promised me Alpha Darnell…after everything I have done for you.” I turn to Alpha Darnell, pleading with him. “Exactly, this is a favour bestowed upon your family child…your sister when ready will be the luna of the Silver River pack…” Alpha Miso stands, pushing up from his hands as they remain palm down on the desk. “She doesn’t want to be a luna…” I lowly growl back, earning a smirk from him.

I wrapped my hands on her but touched nothing but air. I looked at where my sister was, Emptiness. "Where is she?" I demanded, shocking even myself. I knew not what I was facing but seeing Kristy was still alive gave me confidence. "With me." "What are you anyway?" The shadow turned scary, Burning embers making its features more visible and a staff, gold and with a sharp edge appeared out of nowhere. "I am Kroni, Lord of the underworld."

Ginevra affirmed. “What?! How?” I exclaimed, jerking up. “That is not possible, I don’t believe you,” I cried. “The earlier you do, the better. And now to burst your bubble, my sister was murdered. Her murderer is no one else but Emiliano,” Ginevra declared. My eyes widened in shock. She stood up. “You got to let my sister be back inside of you. She has a mission to accomplish, please,” Ginevra begged, holding my hands. She sounded desperate. I looked at her, mouth agape.

she added afterward. "I'm sure he would," I commented as I finished her look with a pink blush on her cheeks. "You really are the best, sis! Thank you for doing this for me." I smiled widely upon hearing her praise. My younger half-sister, Maddie, had a huge crush on Jarl Kristoff, the crown alpha of Ironflame Pack, despite having only heard about him through stories circulating on the continent. Ironflame was the largest and most powerful pack in the Northern continent, and our pack, Shadowmoon, was one of its vassals.

he roared over the pounding music. “Is everything good?” Kairos yelled back. Thorne nodded once but Kairos could tell something was off in the way his jaw ticked. He leaned back in to speak into Kairos’s ear. “You hear about who made their way to campus today?” Kairos pulled back to shake his head. Thorne’s eyes went wide before he dove back in to speak in Kairos’s ear. “Amara Luna,” Thorne said. “My sister. The Princess.” Kairos’s face twisted into a smug frown.

My Sister’s Alpha

My Sister’s Alpha

I started, my voice loud enough for everyone pause and look at me confused. Before I could utter another word, Calanthe beat me to it. “My sister, Naidira and I would like to inform everyone of something important.” Alpha Orion looked confused. Just like everyone else. “What's going on?” I raised a brow, chest heaving silently. What did she want to say? Her fingers dropped to her stomach and her next words were soft. “I'm with child for the Alpha.” My blood ran dry as gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sister Krone is one of those characters who sneaks up on you with how complex she turns out to be in 'The Promised Neverland'. At first glance, she’s this unsettling, almost cartoonishly villainous figure with her exaggerated expressions and relentless pursuit of the kids at Grace Field House. But once you peel back the layers, there’s a tragic depth to her that makes her more than just a foil for Isabella. Her backstory isn’t spelled out in exhaustive detail, but the glimpses we get paint a picture of someone who’s been shaped by a brutal system into becoming a monster—yet never fully loses her humanity.

From what’s revealed, Krone was once a child at an orphanage much like Grace Field, raised to be either a 'shipment' (food for demons) or a caretaker if she proved exceptional. She clawed her way up to the latter role, but her ambition and resentment festered. Unlike Isabella, who embraces her role with chilling pragmatism, Krone’s bitterness is palpable. She’s obsessed with surpassing Isabella, not just for survival but out of sheer spite, which hints at a lifetime of being treated as second-best. The way she monologues about her struggles—being denied love, validation, even basic dignity—makes her rage feel raw and personal. It’s hard not to pity her when she tearfully recalls praying as a child, only to realize no one was listening.

What’s fascinating is how Krone’s backstory mirrors the kids’ own plight. She’s what they could become if they fail: a victim turned perpetrator, trapped in a cycle of violence. Her flashbacks to the orphanage, coupled with her manic desperation to escape her fate, add a layer of tragic irony to her arc. Even her physical design—lanky, towering, with those unnerving stitches—feels like a visual metaphor for someone cobbled together by trauma. And yet, for all her cruelty, she’s the one who plants the seeds of rebellion by leaking information to Emma and Norman. It’s like part of her still wants to believe escape is possible, even if she’s too broken to achieve it herself.

Krone’s ultimate downfall is poetically brutal. The system she fought so hard to climb within discards her the moment she becomes inconvenient. Her backstory doesn’t excuse her actions, but it contextualizes them in a way that makes her one of the series’ most haunting figures. Every time I rewatch her scenes, I notice new nuances—the way her voice cracks when she talks about God, or how her laughter borders on hysterical. She’s a cautionary tale wrapped in a performance that’s equal parts terrifying and heartbreaking.
