"This is Nicole, my old classmate from elementary school. We were just catching up." The woman's face lit up with understanding, and she smiled warmly at Nicole. "Ah, nice to meet you, Nicole," she said, extending her hand. "I'm Hazel Smithson, Jack's elder sister." Nicole's eyes widened in surprise as she shook Hazel's hand, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had been worried for a moment there, but it seemed that Jack was still single, and the little girl was probably his niece or cousin. Nicole smiled back at Hazel, feeling more at ease now. "Nice to meet you too, Hazel," she said, her voice friendly.

My sister won't breathe a word; she's always been like that. I focus on washing the dishes, placing the plates and utensils in their rightful places. Finally, I'm finished. I hear the sound of laughter coming from the living room, my sister's voice booming above the rest. She pointed at a group of women and I realised they were trying to work on her hair and face at the same time. "Thank you," I smiled at her and went to meet my sister. "Sarah," I stood in front of her, "I'm pretty sure you don't understand what the definition of a small wedding is." I couldn't help but laugh, looking over the guests one more time.

After all, I get cozy with Neil too, right? “Guess who's here, Adonis!” Jade announced as we reached the couches. “Your sexy as fuck sister-in-law.” She grinned at me. Many of them are outside like they're watching a drama. "I thought you two split up? Why is he acting like that?" my sister asked me. "I don't know, sis. Jasper is a pain in the ass." I mumbled. My sister and I step out. Our neighbors are gossiping, watching, and filming us at the moment.
