The last time she had come here with Aiden was to break the terrible news to them and she had not been in the best frame of mind to answer their questions as she had just been trying to accept the fact that her sister had been murdered and would never be returning home ever again. There was no sign of Lia and even after he rang the doorbell continuously, nobody answered. He went over to the next door house and knocked. An old woman opened the door with her dog beside her. "Oh! You mean Lia, the beautiful young lady?" The old woman asked with a smile. "Yes." "I did see her leave for work this morning. Her sister even spent the night at my house but left this morning. Lia was the first to leave though. She left hours ago." The old woman revealed.

“Are you stalking me?” “You wish,” I spit back, keeping a hold on Libby’s hand. “Then what are you doing here?” “My sister bought the lot a few houses down. She wanted to show me.” Owen nods. “I didn’t know we were going to be neighbors.” “You live here?” I don’t mean to sound as surprised as I do. My eyes go to the house in front of us, thinking this place is better suited for a family of five like my sister’s, not Owen.
