A Breakup Six Years Too Late
I took the album—and without hesitation, I turned and threw it into the trash.
"We're over, Soren," I announced. "Leave. I don't want to see you again."
He looked like he wanted to say something again, but Theodore stepped forward and blocked his path.
"Mr. Cruz, this is my wedding—not a mob standoff," he warned. "If you try to ruin it again, don't blame me for being ruthless."
Soren glared at him, defiance flashing in his eyes, but he knew he was at a disadvantage.
All he could do was throw me one last resentful look before turning and storming out.
