Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

Ursula had reported the blonde did have a high temperature and had complained of sore joints but did that necessarily mean Chloe was turning? “Are you certain this isn’t the result of an attack?” He finally asked. “Oh I’m certain. There is no sign of blood or a body.” His nostrils flared as he let out a frustrated breath. What the hell was going on in this place? They had a dead pack, imprisoned wolves, corruption, three dead humans and now two missing girls. Something deep inside of him was telling him this wasn’t even the tip of the iceberg but none of it was making any sense.

Caught in the Crossfire

Caught in the Crossfire

Her voice was gentle but firm as she grasped my wrist with her fingers and gently pulled up, encouraging me to let go. Callie reluctantly leaned back, and I finally relented and followed her. I was covered in blood, my hands, my chest, and my arms were all stained with the bright red of Beatrice’s blood. I could see blood on Callie’s shirt, and I couldn’t stop my eyes from staring at the stains, the beauty of the shape mesmerizing me. The red blood had been in Beatrice’s veins not just twenty minutes ago and now it was painted across Callie’s chest, a Rorschach test for me to figure out the mysteries in my mind.

Wolfblood

Wolfblood

ALEXANDER My father and sister were both pretty fucked-up, but, damn, Blake was sick. Because we had to make do with what was available in the casino, which wasn’t much, Blake had a bunch of his warriors holding the members of the Bois Sombre Pack down while he tortured them. They were both fully naked after being forced into their human forms. Chef’s knives were brought in from the kitchen, and Blake tested each one of them out on the men’s torsos until he figured out which one was the sharpest, their ensuing screams widening his smile, his eyes gleaming.

I thought this book was well developed and I loved how it the story contined on involving both Alex and Blake's pack. I felt this story had more self reflection and perhaps self doubt with some of the MCs. But, honestly I think that is what made the bonds stronger and independently grow.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

SEVEN YEARS, ONE CROWN

SEVEN YEARS, ONE CROWN

The guard studied me for a long moment. Then he reached for his radio. I stood at those gates and I did not fidget and I did not look away and my wolf stood straight inside me for the first time in seven years. The radio crackled. The guard looked up. Alpha Rhys says to bring her in, he said. He did not sound surprised. And that was the part that should have reassured me. It did not.

SHATTERED CROWNS

he said, extending his hand. She looked at his hand. Then at him. Her eyes were dark brown, almost black, and so cold they could have frosted the champagne in her glass. Up close, she was even more devastating, sharp cheekbones, full mouth, a face that demanded you look and then punished you for staring. She took his hand. Her grip was firm and brief, and the touch sent something down his spine that felt dangerously close to recognition. "I know exactly who you are, Mr. Cross."

The Wolf in Cell Six: Rogue Revolution

She turns, running towards a nearby tent. She doesn’t return, but Chad does. “That’s six,” he says, referring to my body count. “That’ll be the cell we put you in. Do you want to know what cell six is for?” He steps closer and leans down to me, his lips nearly touching mine. “Sex,” he finishes, trusting his hand up my dress, “and the men are going to love you. All of them.”

he said. "Thank you, this is our haven from the hands of the enemy," I replied. "You're right. So, I'll let you know if there's a message from Claire," he said and left me. When Heath was gone, I opened my suitcase and took the only book I brought with me. The Name of a Rose, written by the Italian author Umberto Eco. I haven't even finished from the prime. I couldn't face reading it because of too many works in Paris. I turned to the page where I placed the bookmark.

SHADOWS OF TRUST

SHADOWS OF TRUST

“Good morning Andre, it seems we have a problem.” “Good morning Sir, I would be a fool to disagree. So! Max, Fred, Jeff, explain to me why you are here before I have to kill all of you.” Jeff chuckled, this woman, she had more balls than most men. He always admired her, maybe even loved her but she never paid any attention, and he didn’t hold it against her simply because she never led him on. “We had a security breach on the compound and all arrows pointed to Dalton Corp.”

S.I.X: The Mafia's Kryptonite

S.I.X: The Mafia's Kryptonite

* The bass from the club pulsed through my bones as I nursed my whiskey. My last night of freedom deserved better than this dive bar on the outskirts of Rome, but anonymity had become a habit I couldn’t shake. This was how I created a cover for my personality as Six. The dark had become one with me. I would retreat into its warm embrace and observe my victims. “This seat taken?” I looked up, straight into eyes that gleamed amber under the neon lights. She was stunning – dangerous kind of stunning that set off every alarm in my head. Dark hair fell in waves past her shoulders, and her dress left just enough to imagination to make a man’s mind wander to dangerous places. A deep plunging neckli

Crimes and Punishment

I answered flatly. He sat down on the chair in front of me, and as he nearly pulled his own hair out of frustration, I could see it visibly in his eyes. His white neck and face were also crimson red. Oscar is handsome. He's tall, has a fair complexion, with a pointed nose and thin lips. He also has those pairs of foxy eyes. His hair is semi-shaven and his body is a bit bulky. Maybe because he's a basketball player. It's just that the reason why I don't like him—that's why we broke up last week—is that he's forcing me to have sex with him. He almost laid his damn hand on me. Fortunately, Peter and my other friends came.
