Hard to believe I’m days away from popping. My stomach is stretched far too much, my back aches, the fake contractions have me freaking out, and my feet are like balloons. I’m ready for the Little Nightmare to come out. The nickname Little Nightmare seems to be sticking. It’s slightly fitting as her father is a demigod of death and her mothers is a lycan. These are definitely two things that would give normal people nightmares, and Everly is a combination of those things. We decided to call her Ever as a cute nickname and Little Nightmare as her nickname for when she is driving us crazy.

He always kept it that way on his helicopter, knowing I loved it when he played my favorite songs. "Don't touch that." Finn slapped her hand away. "I feel suffocated. Can't I put on something more exciting to get my blood pumping?" Amanda shot her hand out again, completely unapologetic. A two-second silence. "Do whatever you want." Finn conceded. I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face. "Nightmares do not make wolves sound like they're dying. This…sounded as though you were fighting for your life. Tell me, what was it?" His expression stiffened as his brows pulled into a frown. I looked at him, but the look in his eyes told me he would not let this go. I sighed and shifted against the bed while he settled beside me. "Would you believe me if I told you some nightmares are memories?” Dominic's brows knitted together in confusion.

"Rosalia, I was wrong… Please come back." Just then, a wave carried a drifting bottle onto the beach. Inside was a yellowed piece of paper containing my neat handwriting. "Jared, by the time you read this, I will be gone for good. Not just gone, but never existed at all. The system gave me seven days. I could have fixed everything, but what you did was enough to make me give up. Farewell. I hope you and Melody find happiness."

"Nothing that can't wait until tomorrow." Five hours later we were sitting on her bed. I was next to her, and she'd covered us with that big blanket of hers. My head was on her shoulder, and I found myself nodding off. The episode we were watching was called 'Nightmares,' where a little boy in a coma was causing everyone's deepest fears to manifest.

More tears flow down. “It's not what you think, Father. I promise I can explain-” I yelled aloud, watching the door slam in my face. But I don’t give up. I was kicking as I struggled to get down. What is a common thing of nightmares?” he asked, his tone taking on a sinister quality as he leaned closer, claws starting to dig into my skin. “They are dark and terrifying?” I arched an eyebrow doing my best to maintain my bravado. I would not whimper for him. He obviously gets off on that shit.

You started to rub my back again, but this time it was a little faster than earlier. Somehow in someway, my own actions eased the horror that's scaring me earlier. "The fear won't go away if you'll keep thinking that way. So, how about looking at the brighter side like nightmares are just terrifying events that our mind creates. But they won't happen in reality unless you decided to make them real, hm?"

Telling him the exact old told tale. “Don’t you remember those happy voices in your mind as you sleep? Or maybe the screams you hear of terror in a nightmare. What is a nightmare? Isn’t a nightmare a small prison you’re trapped in, with no hopes of waking? Why? Because you never know you’re asleep. You forget everything, your name, your life, and who you are. The only thing to accompany you are the monsters that laugh in your mind, that taunt you, knowing everything. Your life, your happiness, everything that had been stolen away.
