The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

"So where does a sorceress get the ingredients for her spells? She can't cross the Atlantic every time she needs dwaleberry, can she? She doesn't keep a nest of falcon chicks or a bowl of sunfish..." "We will have to go back and find those in the World Beyond then. Risky as it is, it can't be helped," said the sorceress. "Oh no, I don't want to get back there yet," Cassandra said. "I think we should look in the laboratory. I have heard that they used to have a secret storeroom where they preserved all kinds of creepy stuff behind a false wall." Perhaps they could find a human bone there. Cassandra tried not to picture any skeleton in a lab coat lying face down on the laboratory table, dead b

Nick added. Madchen lowered her head in embarrassment, knowing everyone knew her deepest darkest secrets. “You have nothing to be ashamed of,” Drago still had her face in her hands, “You survived, pure as the day you were born, stronger than you know. Somehow you shielded yourself, Madchen, tell me that isn’t magic, it may not be sparks flying from your fingers, but it is magic, nonetheless.” ‘My son is right,” Adriana agreed, “ I think you only needed love and encouragement to heal yourself the other night.”

I love this book! The story is very captivating! My only complaint is that some chapters are repeated and some excerpts of chapters are repeated, causing you to pay more than what is worth. But that isn't on the author and should be fixed by Good Novel.

I gotta give the author mad props. I mean I’m flying through this book like mad. I know the story is ongoing but come on board. So find a comfortable spot and your favorite drink and get lost in this. Oh don’t forget your blanket my house is cold. They have the air WAY TO LOW

Sword Dancer

Sword Dancer

Boro and Mika stood in the sand circle as the two finalists. The animosity between the two was so thick in the air it was almost palpable. Boro stood in the ready form, Crane In The Water, standing perfectly balanced on one leg, his sword held out before him. Mika stood in a form that Boro didn't recognize. Boro prided himself on knowing all the forms of classical, and modern, sword art, the fact he didn't recognize this one was puzzling.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

His icy touch had felt so real. Wilbur turned back to the well, just in time to see a black skeleton rise out of it. The skeleton reached out with a hand, grabbing at Wilbur. Wilbur acted at once, throwing a punch at the skeleton. The golden dragon appeared, crashing into the skeleton as a powerful wave of energy spread out that knocked Wilbur several meters backward. The skeleton had completely fallen apart when he looked again, falling back into the well. Wilbur turned around and saw that the young man polishing the mirror had vanished as well.

Two Fate of Vans

One of them even wielded a larger sword and had a small shield on its left side. A light sword strike alone wouldn't be enough to bring them down. Other adventurers also seemed to struggle a bit when fighting them, especially with the wolf-shaped skeleton that was causing additional trouble. "Damn, this is really challenging," complained one of the adventurers. I thrust and plunged both of my swords towards all the skeletons attacking me. This time, I used both swords simultaneously to confront these monsters, infusing more magical power into my blades to strengthen my attacks. There were about a thousand skeletons we were facing at the moment. I increased the speed of my movements to attack

Spirit Walker

Spirit Walker

“You’re not lying. Then why was the human interested in her?” “They were old friends,” he simply told him. “He didn’t take no for an answer.” Lucifer shook his head. Lowered his sword to the growed, as he looked to be in thought. “How did she set all those souls out of the graveyard?” “She is a Spirit Walker,” he answered. Lucifer whistled, “Damn, I wasn’t going to win. Was I?” With a final look around. He turned at his hips and he was gone. In puff of smoke.

Ultimate Sorcerers

Ultimate Sorcerers

Amidst the flickering candlelight in her grand chamber, Constantine stood before a gathering of her fellow witches. The room was charged with an atmosphere of palpable tension, and the air seemed to thicken as she began to speak. "Witches of our coven," Constantine's voice rang out, commanding the attention of all who were present. Her eyes, gleaming with a newfound darkness, surveyed the assembly. "As your Supreme Sorcerer, I stand before you with grave news. A prophecy, one of ancient origins, threatens our existence."

Updates are really slow. I couldn’t remember story line completely and had to go back and read several chapters to get back up to speed. Please update regularly. It’s a really good story and losing the audience due to delayed updates is a shame.

Like other comments, loved the storyline and characters BUT updates are extremely slow. So slow that I had to go back and reread the last couple of chapters before reading new material. Won’t continue story if next update takes so long.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Caspian glanced at the skeleton and said lightly, "Return the sword or die." The skeleton was stunned. The next moment, he was so angry that he laughed. "Boy, do you think you can pretend to be strong just because you've changed your expression?" The skeleton opened and closed his upper and lower jaw. "Do you know what realm I'm in? I'm..." Swoosh! Pa! Peng! Before he could finish, Caspian waved his arm. There was a crisp sound, and then there was a cracking sound. At this moment, half of the skeleton's head exploded like broken porcelain, and his body flew out horizontally. He fell to the ground and rolled several times, almost falling apart.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Elemental Lycan : The Devine Elemental

Elemental Lycan : The Devine Elemental

Those pale, clouded accents weren't stones. They were bone. The vanguards watched in paralyzed revulsion as the projections slowed, showing the gruesome methodology of a High Councilor. They saw the spectral children shrieking in excruciating pain as Vane, with the steady hands of a jeweler, harvested their magic and their very skeletons while their hearts were still beating.
