Sky Landers Novels & Stories

Sky said she didn't know where we went after that because things started to become fuzzy to her. As they stepped out of the house, Lana began to open a portal just as Max emerged with a gun, firing shots. Ducking and weaving to evade the bullets, Lana reopened the portal, and they all attempted to leap through. In the chaos, Max seized Sky's leg, yanking her back to him just as the portal snapped shut. On the other side, Zion realized Sky was missing. He shouted at Lana to send him back; she hesitated briefly before complying with his request.

Loki asks and I nod, pulling the hoodie stings with my one hand. “These are fine,” I smile softly. “Thank you.” Loki nods and Kane looks at Finn, “We will open the boulder just a little to make sure the coast is clear and then we will go. Mia, we are still on River packs lands, so we need to move quickly.” I nod as we walk back to the staircase, slowly climbing until we reach the top. Light bleeds in as the boulder moves and Finn steps outside, to look around, “It’s clear, Alpha,” he whispers, and Loki and Kane push the boulder all the way back.

Lyra I arrived at the Luna's house just as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a soft golden hue across the hills. The evening air was cool, carrying the scent of pine and earth, Calista's favorite, I thought, as I walked up the gravel driveway. This is because I perceive this scent more than others here.

“Zephyr held his end of the deal, he gave us two two hundred warriors and twelve scouts. I didn’t answer right away. I stared past him at the stretch of men training in the yard, white snow warriors. Two hundred wasn't a bad number. It puts us at an advantage to Star Raiders, but i wasn't still not sure if it enough to put me at ease. Star Raiders posses the most skilled men of all packs, this number would be enough against any other pack but them. And their quality?” I finally asked. Kael scratched his chin. “Better than what I expected.

I said with a laugh as worry lines creased his brow. We rode the Hipper, a superconducting levitation transporter that took city dwellers to and from the Drock, then proceeded onward to the edge of the ice lands. At speeds of over five hundred miles an hour, we passed computerized automotive harvesters and hovering seeding machines that dotted the landscape. Leaves as bright as jewels spun through the air in the Hipper’s wake. In the distance, the towering ice mountains stretched across the horizon. The ice lands covered two-thirds of our planet, sustaining a population of more than eighty million.

It is drying to my shirt and skin, causing them to stick together. "So, I know your probably not ready.." he starts and looks over, "But this is my mom, Luna Tanyas, shop. My mom likes to be in town and close by all the other pack members if they ever need any help. We don't have to stay long but, I figured you could meet her and she could let you use the loft upstairs to shower."

The night was eerily quiet, save for the crackle of the campfire and the occasional rustle of leaves in the wind. The gathered wolves formed a semicircle, their attention fixed on Kael. He stood like a statue, his posture rigid, the flickering flames casting shadows across his chiseled features. His voice cut through the stillness as he addressed the pack, issuing orders in clipped, decisive tones.

It all felt like one big barbecue party, with part of it being the welcoming party becoming the member of the pack. When Helena and I joined the crowd, we were received so warmly. Helena was the pack’s Luna, since Jackson hadn’t yet found a new Luna. She had already told me that I was her Luna, but since I wasn’t ready for that yet, we hadn’t shared it with the pack—and fortunately, no one else was pressing me about it.
