I scrambled to the edge of the floor to escape from the source of the scent. But it was the Lycan King. He had shifted form, his eyes were fiery red orbs surrounded by golden circles, his hair seemed to have grown longer, his skin was covered in fur than normal and he had three long sharp claws protruding from his fingers. But his face was still his not fully.

Kael roared. The twin wolves shifted, but they weren't the pixelated beasts from the Nexus anymore. They were Primal Hounds, their fur made of silver needles and their claws dripping with liquid mercury. They lunged at the "Architect Drones"—geometric, multi-legged machines that swarmed out of the Siphon’s base. Zane slammed his sapphire arm into the ground. A forest of crystalline spikes erupted, impaling the drones and creating a protective cage around Rhys as he worked the Tuning Forks.

Maybe he’d been showing off, but he wanted to make an impression. Once the hour delay was over, Alpha Salvatore nodded at Solomon, telling him it was time. He couldn’t shift into his beast form, but that didn’t mean he was incapable of making a statement. Instead of immediately walking into the woods, Solomon had stripped off his heavy, fleece-lined sweatshirt and tied it around his waist. Under the sweatshirt he wore a black sleeveless T-shirt with extreme dropped armholes. He cleared his mind, closed his eyes, and reached toward his other form. There was a slight tingling around his eyes when he tapped into his Lycan power. Opening his eyes, he glanced around the pack.

Skyline screamed. “ Please stand. We don’t want to hurt you.” Warrior Sam said to Skyline. This was their Luna for a long time they don’t want to have to use force on her. Skyline doesn’t care. She starts screaming. “ Who do you think you are to talk to me like that? I am Luna of this pack. I give the orders.” she screams. Damn she is giving me a headache. “ Silence.” I growl. That shut her up. “ Now you will stand up and go with these kind warriors who are only trying to do their job.” I said. Skyline did as I said.

"Leo! She’s removing the 'Noise'! If she finishes the render, we’ll be trapped in a featureless void!" ​"Kaelen! Maya! Break her focus!" Leo roared, finally forcing his muscles to move against the Prime’s crushing pressure. ​Kaelen didn't hesitate. He launched himself forward, his silver-metal skin flaring to its maximum output. He wasn't just a man; he was a "Living-Impact," a silver comet aimed directly at the Prime’s heart. ​But the Prime didn't dodge. As Kaelen’s fist neared her chest, she simply "Shifted." In a flash of silver light, Kaelen didn't hit her; he passed right through her as if she were made of mist.

"Prime is…was feral lycan, who took over the body of his first kin. He ruled as a tyrant wolven king. He brought sorrow and pain to a large number of supernatural. He is dangerous." My heart skipped a best as everything seemed to fall in place. That's why Kylen didn't want to tell me about the lycan ascension. He knew that Cassian had a slim chance of winning. Thats why Cassian avoided a relationship with me for so long. He believed that he wasn't capable of winning.
