"You hunt immortals, and we're up against an army of them. Werewolves and vampires working together. We're at war and we need your assistance, your men to defeat them." "At last, the almighty Castles will fall, along with friends," he said mockingly. "I should celebrate in advance, yeah." "These are the creatures you hunt!" Daniel yelled unpleasantly. "The Casltes, we are the defenders of Shade. Yes the Castles has been and acted superior over all others, doing what they chose without question over the years, but without them the balance which have been maintained because of their presence will fall. The witches will take dominion of Shade and there will chaos." he moved and held Marcus on t

He had underestimated Ambrose's strength. Larissa's eyes darted to the side. She grabbed Ambrose's left hand, noticing the bare wrist. "Where's the Nightshade Demon?" Larissa demanded. The Nightshade Demon was the latest weapon developed by Finn, and its destructive power was unimaginable. What kind of crisis could have caused Ambrose to lose even the Nightshade Demon? Remiel thought of the black bracelet on Ambrose's wrist. He had assumed it was just an accessory, but it seemed he had misjudged.

“Define ‘interesting.’” He glances at Stevie, who smirks. “Our scouts made contact with the Nightshade pack on the borderlands,” she says. “Wasn’t pretty. But that’s not the interesting part.” I fold my arms. “Go on.” Stevie swipes across her tablet, showing a map with blinking red markers. “They weren’t alone. Turns out, Nightshade’s been cozying up to one of the wild Lycan clans.” I blink. “Lycans? You’re sure?”

“If that girl is part Umbrawolf, she won’t fight as a human.” In Nightshade Valley, wolves cloaked in black performed shadow-tracking rituals. Alpha Selrik sat on his throne of twisted black roots, watching as crescent-moon witches chanted over glowing runes. “Trace the last Knot’s echo. We must predict where she’ll surface next,” he told his spiritual adviser. “Use soulbinding crystals. We’ll sever her from her wolf.” In the cliffs of Shadowbrook, iron-armored scouts moved through swirling fog. Alpha Thorne, quiet but precise, mapped out every fault in the Umbra’s defenses. He laid illusion traps along several known paths.

His shadowy minions, creatures twisted by his dark magic, cowered in fear, retreating to the edges of the cave to avoid the wrath of their master. He had underestimated her, and that realization gnawed at him like a festering wound. Lara, who had always seemed like a mere pawn in the grander scheme, had proven herself to be far more formidable than Draven had ever imagined. She had ventured into the heart of the forest, alone and without fear, to obtain the Nightshade Essence—an ancient and powerful substance capable of breaking even the most potent dark magic.

"I ask one final time. Surrender the abomination." "Never," Dante said flatly. Helena's hand dropped. "Then you've chosen destruction. May the Goddess forgive your souls." Her army charged. The battle of Nightshade began with shocking violence. Helena's warriors were well-trained, coordinated, ruthless. They fought with the fervor of holy warriors, believing they were doing sacred work. But Nightshade and its allies were defending their home. Their families. Their way of life. That desperation made them formidable. Aria watched from the pack house roof, Luna held firmly at her side despite her daughter's protests. They could see the fighting at the borders, wolves clashing in both human and

“Yes, it was Nightshade.” I raised my brows, never having heard of Nightshade before. “What is Nightshade?” “A strong and very deadly poison that’s difficult to detect. It has no scent or taste… It’s slow-moving and there’s no known cure for it,” he said, his eyes finding mine and narrowing. “Well, until now that is.” My cheeks flushed. Not only was I able to detect the Nightshade immediately, but I was also able to cure it. I stared down at my hands, not sure what any of this means.

“I own like… four things.” Seyla snorts. “One of them has blood on it.” “That’s not the point.” I eye the growing pile suspiciously. A dark green dress. A black skirt. Several tops. Jewelry. Gods. Actual jewelry. “Where did all this come from?” Lyra starts sorting through the pile. “Girls from our dorm.” she replies with a shrug. “What?”

Xander's pov Suddenly, a figure dropped down from the detached above and landed silently in front of us. The sudden movement startled our horses. More figures emerged from the shadows and fog while some silently dropped from trees. Nightshade warriors. They were unlike any werewolves I had ever seen. They were dressed in dark cloaks with armours underneath, their faces were covered by masks made from vines and bones. Their movements were eerily silent, like their feet were floating above the ground that was completely covered with twigs and leaves. It was unnatural and unsettling.

She nods to Shade but answers me, "We don't need to worry about that. Zachariah has a gift sitting back in your room for tonight." Shade gets to his feet and disappears into the back room again, coming back out not long later with 3 small bottles of something. One was gold nail polish, one looked like it had a black powder of some type in it and the other seemed to be a clear cover polish. He started with the gold, doing all my nails, he then used the black powder which once on the gold looked like little stars scattered over my nails, and then he covered them with the clear polish, sealing them all together.
