Skylanders Nightshade Novels & Stories

Shadows danced, elongating and twisting, as if mocking our every step. Suddenly, the forest fell into an eerie silence. The rustle of leaves ceased, and the wind died down. The Nightshade materialized before us, its towering form wreathed in darkness. Its eyes burned with an unnatural intensity, piercing through the gloom. "You dare challenge me?" it sneered, its voice a haunting melody that sent chills down our spines. "You may have rallied your feeble forces, but you cannot comprehend the depths of my power." Malachi stepped forward, his eyes locked with the Nightshade's. "We may be mere mortals, but our determination and love for Silverwood will not waver in the face of your darkness. We

I reminded my brothers as Kenny suddenly appeared at the edge of the clearing, battling his way toward us with ferocious determination. The First's form continued to solidify, its features becoming visible, ancient beyond reckoning, neither male nor female, with eyes like black holes that seemed to absorb all light. "Stop them!" it commanded Nightshade. "The crown cannot be activated!" Matthias reached us first, his small hand joining mine on the crown. The jewels pulsed brighter, recognising his touch. Kenny fought through three of Nightshade's guards, his Royal battle leathers splattered with blood, but his eyes burning with purpose as he closed the distance.

sorrow? "Come in." She said "we have much to discuss." "You're Helga Ashwood?." Kade asked Carefully. "I am." her eyes never left my pendant. "And you child, are far more interesting than you realize." "what does that mean?" I asked. Helga's smile was sad and knowing. "it means you've come seeking answers about a binding spell. About why you can't shift." but the truth is far more complicated than a simple spell. The truth dear child involves blood, betrayal.

"What you said about the bloodline trait." "Nightshade-Mortez acceleration," she said. "It's documented, though rarely. When a Nightshade heir of sufficient power is born under extreme circumstance, war, threat, a binding actively failing, the body accelerates development to reach functional capability faster. A survival mechanism, encoded generations back." She looked at Aurora. "Your daughter was born during the exact convergence that trait exists to answer. Active threat. Active binding failure. A power level high enough to trigger the deepest version of the response."

He was an experienced pack doctor. He carefully inquired about Hailey's situation and picked up the glass to smell it. "It was Nightshade Weed," Ike turned back and said with a serious tone. Nightshade Weed was a poisonous plant commonly found in the Shadow Forest. Though not lethal, it could temporarily paralyze the werewolves' wolfish nature, rendering them unable to shift. I turned to look at Matt and the others. My anger affected my wolf. As Derek released its roaring oppression, I saw fear and unease in their eyes.

If I died then Noora would never truly be avenged, and nobody would know the truth. “I’ve got the ball…” I said again, as he looked at me confused. I lifted my butt and reached to my lower back, grabbing my shard. With everything I had yelled, “I’ve got the motherfucking ball and you’re never going to fucking getting it!” He looked up at me and laughed.

Even as a child I was one of the few that could see his aura. His grandfather arrived shortly after, scattering the children in fear. And from that moment forward, my world shifted. He brought me home. No longer Daya No Last Name, I became Daya Blackclaw — granddaughter to the Alpha of Blackclaw Pack, a pack famed for its powerful bloodlines. But Night was different. An anomaly. Unnaturally strong and fast, even before his first shift. Grandfather Jacob made it clear the moment I arrived that I was to remain by Night’s side at all times, even when he didn't want me around.

And she knew the truth: he wouldn’t survive this night unless she intervened. From the treeline, a chorus of howls rose, deep and resonant. Then, through the smoke, they came—the Nightshade elite, cloaked in black and silver, their eyes glowing with the cold light of the moon. At their center strode a massive wolf, his fur dark as pitch, his fangs bared. Lila’s breath caught. “Darius…” Her brother. The Alpha of Nightshade. He shifted mid-stride, towering and fierce, the rain sliding down the planes of his face. His amber eyes locked on her instantly, and something ancient and furious passed between them.

She had already sprinted past the turnoff for her apartment building; leading these unknown killers to her safe house would be suicide. She needed to lose them in the dark, because if she failed to break their line of sight, she would likely end up as a corpse on an autopsy table by morning. The path ahead was pitch black, unlit by any city infrastructure, but her enhanced night vision handled the darkness without issue. Fortunately, she knew these back alleys like the back of her hand. Reaching the absolute end of the concrete maze, the narrow path finally opened up into the wide, brightly lit expanse of the multi-lane highway.
