His silver eyes glowed faint in the dark. “Didn’t think you’d still be breathing after that little lover’s meltdown.” “Get out of my way.” My voice came out sharp. He cocked his head. “You’re hunting a witch in your lover’s skin, Zane. That’s not saving her — that’s suicide.”

It was Luthor. But not Luthor. Softer. A strange warmth in his eyes. His cheekbone carried a scar Luthor didn’t have. His lips curved in a sad smile. “I’m Lucien. His brother. Twin, actually.” I stared. “No…” I whispered. “You’re lying.” “I wish I was,” he murmured, and something in his voice told me it was true. “I don’t understand. Why didn’t he ever mention—” But then I saw Luthor.

They quickly converged and got straight into business. "So, what's the plan?" Lucien said, his deep voice resonating throughout the whole room. Amongst the triplets, he was the most withdrawn and didn't talk too much, you only knew the things he said through his actions. He was a very fierce warrior and had a very big advantage over his opponents because of the way he was made. Lucien was made like a bull. He was very huge and everyone turned to look at him twice anywhere he went. He took care of most jobs that required an enemy to be subdued and conquered.
