I replied to him but as soon as I spelled the name ‘Paul’, I gasped. “What happened? What is it?” Karien inquired as he saw me gasped all of sudden. I looked at him and asked, “Do you remember what was the shade of the wolf fur, and how big was he?” “He had slightly golden brown, white-colored mix fur and not so big as I saw a werewolf in movies. I don’t think he was a strong wolf but he was there attacking those two guys before I got there and he ran off as soon as he saw me” He said recollecting the memories of last night.

*River* The thrum of energy courses through me as I lead the pack through the forest, our paws pounding against the earth in a synchronized rhythm. The scent of pine and damp earth fills my lungs, blending with the adrenaline that surges through my veins. Each leap and bound sends a thrill through my wolf, a heady mix of urgency and determination. I can feel the bond with my pack tightening, a shared purpose binding us as we race toward the Lycan castle.

He swore if a wolf could look smug Naomis was doing it. Neo reached out to make contact with Naomi’s wolf. Once Naomi had been marked by Theon they would always be able to mind link but for now at least one of them had to be in wolf form to do it.

Whisking me up in his arms Kirill went to the door in Marcus’s room and hurried outside with me freaking out. With our backs against the cabin wall, I peeked inside the window. A large gray wolf with blood-red eyes searched Marcus’s bedroom. “Nash,” Kirill growled and I gasped. There was no way in hell that we could defeat that wolf, I thought worriedly and was pulled after Kirill as he jumped and we slid down the side of the hill.

“While they see disaster, I see potential. I am Alpha Xareth Morryn. Alpha of Crimson Dusk.” Crimson Dusk. Rhydan had spoken of them once, a twilight-born pack, bound by blood magic and dark legacies. “Come with me,” he offered, extending his hand. “Let me take everything from those who cast you aside.” I don’t know why my hand rose to meet his, why my fingers curled into his palm. But they did, and in that moment, I felt my wolf stirring. For the first time, she awakened but she didn’t emerge. Something held her back.

She froze. A shadow moved among the trees, slinking low to the ground. Her heart raced as she crouched down to investigate. There, half-hidden in the brush, lay a white wolf, its body trembling in the dirt. Blood oozed from a deep wound across its side, staining the earth. Lia’s breath hitched. A wolf—no, **a pureblood wolf**—wounded in her forest? She was about to turn away when she noticed the silver scar across its eye. The markings. The same noble markings she had seen only in rumors. A member of the North. A high-ranking wolf. But what was he doing here?

"For the older generation, this means nothing to you. However, we have many new members who aren't familiar with their wolves yet. Thus, they've never experienced a full moon, which makes them a threat to all of us." "Do we kill when we lose control?" Someone shouted out from the crowd. Axil nodded gravely. "You'd do anything once your emotions are heightened to their peak. It's hard for you to differentiate between foe and friends." "So, what do we do?" "We'll need to find somewhere that could hold a thousand raging wolves...." Axil trailed off as his eyes clouded in contemplation. “Is there any place that anyone knows that could barricade wolves? It must be a concrete building with thick w

The wolf whined and dropped on his stomach and gave me puppy big eyes. Lina dropped beside me and patted his head. “His species is Amarok. A Direwolf.” She scratched his back roughly, and I gaped when the wolf turned his head and licked her hand. The wolf looked at me again and took hesitant steps towards me. My back went rigged and I froze. He lowered his heavy head on my bent knees and waited. I swallowed and scratched behind his ears, then laughed when he rumbled and his tongue lolled out. Suddenly, the wolf raised his head and looked behind me. When my laughter stopped and I cooled down, I heard a new growling voice.

They didn't stop though, they kept riding hard on their horses away from the fortress.
