Mia We arrived at a clearing bathed in golden light. The source of the scent we were trailing stood before us. A lone wolf, his fur a striking combination of silver and white. He regarded us with cautious curiosity, his eyes filled with a mixture of wariness and openness. Shifting back into my human form, I approached him slowly, my instincts guiding me to extend a peaceful aura. Creed remained at my side, a silent pillar of strength. The mysterious wolf seemed to sense our intentions, his body relaxing slightly as he allowed us closer.

The wolves surrounded him, ready to take his life as they were commanded not to leave any survivors except the Alpha's daughter. Then, two wolves burst from the shadows and suddenly started attacking the rogues. One was a huge black wolf, twice the size of all the other wolves, and the other was a brown wolf. The huge black wolf’s eyes gleamed red, symbolizing that he was an Alpha, but that wasn't what made the rogues fear him—the mark on the wolf's face made them recognize him as Alpha Kayden and without waiting, they all took to their heels.

On my left runs Aria, the pack's head warrior, her russet fur gleaming as she moves with lethal grace.

Lucas shifted his path knowing the howling wolf decided the best thing was to regroup there. It didn't take long for Lucas to arrive. An all too familiar scent filled the air. The wolf who was howling arrived first, he continued to make the call drawing everyone back.

His body smashed through three trees before disappearing into the forest with a thunderous crash. Silence returned. Jarek and the remaining warrior stared in horror. The stranger brushed imaginary dust from his sleeve. “I would prefer not to waste time fighting,” he said calmly.
