She could easily guess he was an omega in his pack. He roared with bloodshot eyes as she laughed at him. Jackson had run Into a corner as the wolf in front of him was bigger and looked stronger than his. Their colleague was frightened to death and was about to dial the police through the phone on the counter. Lucia gave Jackson a sign and he immediately hit a large frying pan on the girl's head. She fell to the floor. The wolf roared again while he gathered his strength. Without warning, he launched at Lucia, biting hard on her shoulder.

Each wolf, with its sleek In the heart of the sanctuary, where the winds whispered secrets and the trees whispered tales, a formidable force emerged. Amid chaos and turmoil, the golden bright light dissipated, revealing the majestic figure of Skylark Bluedawn in her wolf form. She was a beautiful white wolf with a striking gold stripe adorning her forehead. Growling fiercely, she stared down Wolf Arthur, challenging him with every fiber of her being. Meanwhile, Wolf Payne struggled to get up, whimpering as he yearned to protect his beloved mate.

Saliva dripped from his snarling jaws as he crouched, preparing to attack. The two wolves collided with a thunderous crash, their snarls and growls echoing through the bakery. Claws raked fur and flesh, teeth snapped with lethal intent. Ryker’s agility countered Bruce’s brute strength as they moved in a flurry of strikes and evasions. Despite the chaos, Ryker’s every move was calculated, his wolf form exhibiting both power and precision.

Werewolves adjusted around it without a sound, lanes closing, exits thinning. Jake whispered, “Hold your positions.” No one answered. They didn’t need to. I step up onto the trailer, pouncing off of it and landing squarely on top of the other wolf, ramming my sword down through the base of its skull. “NOOOO!” an ear-shattering scream comes from behind me and I spin to see a wolf fighting for its life under a much larger rogue that tears at it going for its throat. Robin sprints and jumps in between them, landing herself over the bottom wolf's throat with her body. The wolf above her bites into her side as she releases an agonizing scream. My body moves before I even have a moment to comprehend I am moving.

I kicked and screamed only causing his grasp to become harder. "Let go of me!" I screamed as loud as I could before sinking my canines into his arm. Gerwulf's rumbling growl fills the air and I begin to tremble. His skin is starting to become painfully hot as Cinnabar begins to take over. It's becoming horribly obvious in his angered state that he's losing control of his wolf and his magick.

He looks goofy and I can’t help but giggle. “ Well, it is nice to meet you but I need to get ready for work and I’m sure you need to get back home.” He lays down and whines a little bit. “ What’s wrong buddy. Don’t you want to go back home?” Yes, I have decided the wolf is a guy. And I’m still talking to it. I should be running but the funny thing is I don’t feel scared at all. “ You know what. I bet you are thirsty. With all this snow and ice I imagine getting water is hard. Stay there, I'll be back.”

Nothing about either of those things makes any sense. "No, you don't need to buy silver bullets. What kills regular mortals can kill me too. I am not immortal, I can die just like you can. I can get hurt just like you can. I heal faster than you, and I have much better senses of sight and smell. I can run faster than a regular human, but that's to be expected when the blood of the wolf pumps through your veins," Aiden says and he takes a cloth off the kitchen counter and attempts to use it as a band-aid.

he spat, his voice dripping with venom. I met his gaze, my eyes unwavering. "Because, as wolves, we are bound by the same instinct to protect our pack. We may be from different packs, but we are united by the bond of our kind. Let us prove our intentions." With a nod of acceptance, the rogue allowed us to approach the injured wolf. My heart ached at the sight of his wounds, but I focused on maintaining a calm and soothing presence. "We'll take care of him," I assured the rogue, who reluctantly stepped away, still poised to defend his pack if necessary.
